It's time for ZAPFIC50 Monday. This new challenge by @felt-buzz. presented the opportunity to explore the prompt this week the word "delicate". Society understands this word to mean something is pliable or fragile. It's easily broken or damaged and must be handled with care else risk destroying it. In art, I feel the word can apply to a light and airy feel or texture. Something that is ethereal in nature. Finally, I feel that word can describe an emotional state of being. I share a flash fiction story along those lines.
My story is below:
Jacoby nestled close to his mother. She spotted his father beckoning, then pried his hand away. Her delicate approach had ended.
Jacoby rose; reluctantly lumbering toward the stairs.
His father's arms tightened around him.
Slowly he climbed, spying that monstrous slide.
"I did it!" he yelled loudly afterward.
"Go Again!"

Es hora del lunes de ZAPFIC50. Este nuevo reto de @felt-buzz. nos brindó la oportunidad de explorar la propuesta de esta semana: la palabra "delicado". La sociedad entiende que esta palabra significa algo flexible o frágil. Se rompe o daña fácilmente y debe manipularse con cuidado, de lo contrario, se corre el riesgo de destruirlo. En el arte, creo que la palabra puede aplicarse a una sensación o textura ligera y etérea. Algo de naturaleza etérea. Finalmente, creo que puede describir un estado emocional. Comparto un microrrelato sobre este tema.

Jacoby, el conquistador
Jacoby se acurrucó junto a su madre. Vio que su padre le hacía señas y le apartó la mano. Su delicado acercamiento había terminado.
Jacoby se levantó y se dirigió a regañadientes hacia las escaleras.
Los brazos de su padre le rodearon con fuerza.
Subió lentamente, divisando aquel monstruoso tobogán.
«¡Lo hice!», gritó con fuerza después.
