What I see;
I see hands, trees, birds and a storm. I see a strong metaphysical connection.
What I feel;
I feel some energy pouring out of this strong connection. Like an exchange between two powerful beings.
“No father! This is my creation. I will not watch it go to ruins. I spent my entire life around it creating, nurturing and I watched it come to life. We cannot destroy it now, I won't let you! Please”. Shreya was already sobbing and begging her father for mercy. She clutched the little orb tightly to her chest as she wept profusely.
With her slender form and length of over 10ft, she was the smallest of them all. She stood before Lok, the king of King in his chambers. Lok the overseer and god of the gods stood in all his Majesty. His face filled with outrage.
“I feared this day would come. It is time to put an end to this obsession. It was a test project and you know it. Earth’s people are not the goal. Gartha, our new project is”. Lok tried to pacify shreya. Closing her tiny frame in an embrace, shreya wasn't having any of that. She was heartbroken. She had grown to become the mother of her creation. They weren't perfect but good enough for her.
We are gods not mortals. This compassion you have towards your task is what's corrupted your creation. Look at them! They didn't pass the test. Very emotional, selfish and sentimental beings. Either way, they would eventually cause their own destruction. Why not now?” he tried to take the orb from shreya thereby causing a rumble. Do you see how they tremble?
The orb shook and the people of the earth roared.
“An earthquake”
“An eruption”
They scattered and scampered to safety. “God has forsaken us”. Some of them cursed.
“Do you see them? Totally clueless and oblivious to their reality. Enough of this madness now. Abort this project and move on to the next one. We need to create a world where we can finally cohabit and interbreed. It is time for the gods to populate the universe again. They are not the first ones to fail”. Lok gestured towards a heap of some abandoned and broken orbs outside his window.
At this point, Shreya succumbed to defeat. She couldn't think of any way to avoid this tragedy looming. She cried hot tears of pain and frustration. She let her creation down because she was young and powerless against Lok. Her tears drenched the orb as she handed it over to her father.
“Oh! The God is merciful. He has sent down the rains” the people of the earth rejoiced.
