- I SEE a man seating alone in a small table, seems flat out passed out on a table with an empty bottle of what appears to have been alcohol.
- VEO un hombre sentado solo en una pequeña mesa, parece estar desmayado sobre una mesa con una botella vacía de lo que seguramente haya sido alcohol.
- I FEEL sad honestly, i dont have a nice history with alcohol or even worst alcoholism. Its not a personal struggle of mine, in fact i barely was a social drinker back in my teen to young adult years, but i watched and sadly still watching this vice affect the life of someone in my extended family and its frustrating and deppressing. There is a huge social and cultural component to drinking, i wish it was not so big honestly, it is a danger vice potentially, that not everyone is capable of handling properly, not even taking in consideration the health effects or the collateral damage it can make in loved ones or bystanders.
- ME SIENTO Triste honestamente, no tengo una buena historia con el alcohol o incluso peor con el alcoholismo. No es una lucha personal mía, de hecho, apenas fui un bebedor social durante mi adolescencia o como joven adulto, pero si observé y, tristemente, sigo observando cómo este vicio afectaba la vida de alguien de mi familia extendida y es frustrante y deprimente. Hay un enorme componente social y cultural en la bebida, desearía que no fuera tan grande honestamente, es un vicio potencialmente peligroso, que no todos son capaces de manejar adecuadamente, ni siquiera teniendo en cuenta los efectos en la salud o los daños colaterales que puede causar en propios y extraños.
- My Short Story - "Celebration"
He was having the best sleep he had in years,
So much work, stress and tension finally payed off.
Project was done, clients were happy, the budget was doubled.
Thinking he was going to quit a month ago, resignation letter printed and signed in hand...
Thinking he was a failure, thinking he was a terrible dad, thinking he was a terrible husband...
Turns out he was putting way too much pressure on himself, turned out everything was going to be more thank ok.
He didnt even drinked that much that day, could have been more tiredness than the alcohol if you think about it.
A friend was about to wake him up, another one jumped in and said "Let him rest a bit more, i already talked to his wife, i will take him home later... go buy another round, today was a great day".
- Mi Historia Corta - "Celebracion"
Estaba durmiendo mejor de lo que había dormido en años,
Tanto trabajo, estrés y tensión finalmente valieron la pena.
El proyecto estaba terminado, los clientes estaban contentos, el presupuesto se duplicó.
Pensar que iba a renunciar hace un mes, carta de renuncia impresa y firmada en mano...
Pensando que era un fracaso, pensando que era un padre terrible, pensando que era un marido desastrozo...
Resulta que se estaba presionando demasiado a sí mismo, resulta que todo iba a estar mas que bien.
Ni siquiera bebió tanto ese día, podría haber sido más cansancio que el alcohol si lo piensas bien.
Un amigo estaba a punto de despertarlo, otro saltó y dijo "Déjalo descansar un poco más, ya hablé con su esposa, lo llevaré a casa luego ... ve a comprar otra ronda, hoy fue un gran día". .
