Hello community, I am going to participate this week in this interesting contest. Looking at the image I will answer the questions:
Describe what you see
I see a young woman sitting on a staircase, she has fallen asleep with her face covered, perhaps to hide it from the sun.
Describe what you feel
I feel some compassion for her because she must be really tired to be able to sleep in such an uncomfortable way.
Write a story or poem about what you think is happening.
Raismari had dinner, washed her dish and began studying for the exam she would have the next day at the University. She thought that with about two more hours dedicated to studying she would do well on the test.
She sat in front of the laptop and opened the Word document where the content to be reviewed was. She had a fairly clear general idea about the subject, now it was up to her to “fine tune” – as she used to say – and memorize names, quantities, dates.
The document did not want to open and suddenly a little box appeared asking if she wanted to open Word “error-proof” and just at that moment…the power went out! It couldn't be! 'It couldn't be! They had already gone without power that day since 9 a.m. until 3:40 p.m., so she was confident that she would have light at night, she became desperate... The worst thing was that she was alone at home, her mother was in the hospital with her grandmother who had had a very strong asthma attack, she had taken her cell phone with her, with the only alarm clock! In similar circumstances, she would go to sleep and the alarm clock would ring every hour, she would stop and monitor to see if the light had returned and if it didn't continue like that, she would continue sleeping. Now she couldn't afford to fall asleep because when the light came there would be no one to wake her up.
It happened from 10 p.m. until 4:30 a.m. walking on the terrace and doing everything she could think of to stay awake.
At that time the light came and she began to study. The fact that she had also done it days before favored her and she memorized everything necessary very quickly. She went to the Faculty and arrived well before time.
She felt very optimistic…she was sure she would get good grades this time which would raise her average.
Sitting on the main staircase, she reviewed the topic a little and then closed her eyes a little... just a little... but she fell asleep and when she opened them it was already late, the exam had already passed and the feeling of helplessness and frustration overwhelmed her. She felt like she was plowing in the sea. No matter how much she tried to get ahead with her studies, something always happened, something bad, like a kind of diffuse sabotage. She could not resist and in the same position in which she had fallen asleep she gave vent to her crying.
She was crying like a little child, and she caught the attention of the rector who was passing by at that moment. He asked her what was happening and listened to her with attention and empathy. He immediately contacted her professor by phone and arranged for her to take the exam the next day at the rectory, a private exam and that was it.
That afternoon, over a pizza with mushrooms and two glasses of cola, a new but real friendship was born.

Hola, comunidad, voy a participar esta semana en este interesante concurso. Viendo la imagen daré respuesta a las preguntas:
Describe lo que ves
Veo una joven sentada en una escalera, se ha quedado dormida con la cara tapada, quizá para esconderla del sol.
Describe lo que sientes
Siento algo de compasión por ella pues debe estar requete cansada para poder dormir en una forma tan incómoda.
Escribe una historia o un poema sobre lo que crees que está pasando.
Raismari cenó, lavó su plato y comenzó a estudiar para el examen que tendría al día siguiente en la Facultad. Pensaba que con unas dos horas más que dedicara al estudio saldría bien en la prueba.
Se sentó frente a la laptop y abrió el documento de Word donde estaba el contenido a repasar. Tenía una idea general bastante clara acerca del tema, ahora le correspondía “afinar” – como solía decir -, y memorizar nombres, cantidades, fechas.
El documento no quería abrir y de pronto un cuadrito apareció conla pregunta de si deseaba abrir Word “a prueba de errores” y justo en ese momento…¡Se fue la luz! ¡No podía ser! ¡Es que no podía ser! ¡Ya habían pasado sin luz ese dia desde las 9 a.m. hasta las 3:40 p.m., por lo cual estaba confiada que tendría luz en la noche! Se desesperó… Lo peor del caso es que estaba sola en casa, su madre estaba en el hospital con la abuela que había tenido una ataque fortísimo de asma, ella se había llevado el celular ¡Con el único reloj despertador! En circunstancias similares se acostaba a dormir y el despertador sonaba cada hora, ella se paraba, monitoreaba a ver si había regresado la luz y en caso de no seguir así seguía durmiendo. Ahora ¡No podía darse el lujo de quedarse dormida porque cuando llegara la luz no habría quien la despertara!
Pasó desde las 10 p.m. hasta las 4;30 a.m. caminando por la terraza y haciendo cuanto se le ocurría para manenerse despierta.
A esa hora llegó la luz y se puso a estudia. El hecho de haber estudiado también días antes la favoreció y memorizó todo lo necesario con gran rapidez. Se fue a la Facultad y llegó bastante antes de la hora.
Se sentía muy optimista…estaba segura que sacaría buenas calificaciones esta vez lo cual haría subir su promedio.
Sentada en la escalera principal repasó un poco el tema y luego cerró los ojos… solo un poco…pero se quedó dormida y cuando los abrió ya era tarde, ya el examen había pasado y la sensación de impotencia y frustración la abatió.
Se sentía arando en el mar. Por más que trataba de salir adelante con los estudios algo pasaba siempre, algo malo, como una especie de saboteo difuso. No pudo resistir y en la misma posición en que se había quedado dormida dio rienda suelta a su llanto.
Lloraba “jipeado”, como un niño pequeño y llamó la atención del rector que pasaba en ese momento, le preguntó que le ocurría y la escuchó con atención y empatía.
De inmediato se comunicó telefónicamente con su profesor y arregló el que ella presentara el examen al dia siguiente en la rectoría, un examen privado y ya.
Esa tarde, frente a una pizza con champiñones y dos vasos de colita nació una amistad nueva pero real.
