Tal vez así debió ser desde el principio,
Tal vez nunca debimos conocernos y tal vez
Nunca debimos enamorarnos.

Tal vez no podíamos, tal vez no queríamos,
O simplemente era lo que nos tenia que pasar,
Para aprender a dejar, para aprender a soltar.

Pero te ame y tal vez lo sigo haciendo, con la misma
Intensidad con la que lo hice en el pasado, con la
Misma pasión con la que te bese en el pasado.

Aun cuando las cosas no terminaron como queríamos,
Quizás mas adelante seamos solo tu y yo de nuevo,
Mas maduros, mas comprensivos, menos egoístas y
Tal vez volvamos a amarnos, tal vez hayamos sanado.

Maybe we should never have met and maybe we should never have fallen in love.
We should never have fallen in love.

Maybe we couldn't, maybe we didn't want to,
Or maybe it was just what had to happen to us,
To learn to let go, to learn to let go.

But I loved you, and maybe I still do, with the same
Intensity with which I did it in the past, with the same passion
Same passion with which I kissed you in the past.

Even when things didn't end the way we wanted,
Maybe later it'll be just you and me again,
More mature, more understanding, less selfish.
Maybe we'll love each other again, Maybe we'll have healed.

Just maybe...
