The child happily asked his father to take him to the circus. It was a very special occasion because this circus only came to the city once every five years.
It was a circus that was known to be called the traveling circus.
There was a group of artists from different places who were recruited by Mr. La Roca. It was the name that the host of the circus had. He was the one who appeared in all the posters with his long silver-colored cane and a huge mane-shaped mustache with a cape hat and a monocle in his left eye.
He presented the circus as the most important novelty of all time. With its main attraction, the clown Viruta.
He was a clown who was characterized by having large proportions.
He was very fat and appeared as a very funny and comical character.
Little Jorge, the child, always caught his attention and had a lot of fun when he saw the commercials of this clown on television. Since he was six years old, he looked at them and at eleven years old he really wanted his father to take him to the circus to witness the act of Viruta.
With so much insistence, the father finally agreed to take little Jorge to the circus. The long-awaited day arrived. Little Jorge could not sleep the night before.
He turned and turned in his bed, hoping, just thinking about all the excitement of being able to witness live and direct the clown they had been waiting for so long.
The day came, it was early in the morning, little Jorge took his breakfast and with great enthusiasm, he greeted and gave his good morning to his parents.
His parents, very grateful, saw how little Jorge, from early in the morning, had dressed up, he had already dressed with his new and shiny shoes, with his best suit and the hood that always characterized him.

The excitement was at its highest level, in addition to the fuss and all the atmosphere of children with balloons, cotton candy and the circus atmosphere, the truth, made the levels of dopamine rise, not only in the children but also in the parents.
They entered, the presenter came out, announcing and welcoming the act with his long mustache and presenting the first acts, until finally in the middle appeared the famous Viruta, doing a spectacular act, jumping from a very tall tower into a very small pool of water.
The result was that he really came out all wet and with his face all wet and his makeup was run, and at that moment little Jorge frown on a clown because he saw the clown's face and saw that that face was the same face that terrified him since many nights in his dreams, a person who appeared by the edge of his window with a knife and very sharp teeth, who told him that he was coming for him, to look for him and take him away.
Mario Bros's soundtrack was heard in the background, in the environment.
At that precise moment, little Jorge burst into tears in the middle of the show and the parents were amazed not to know what was happening.
The nightmare had come true.
El niño le pidió felizmente a su padre que lo llevara al circo. Era una ocasión muy especial porque este circo solo llegaba a la ciudad una vez cada cinco años.
Era un circo que era conocido como el circo viajero.
Había un grupo de artistas de diferentes lugares que fueron reclutados por el Sr. La Roca. Era el nombre que tenía el anfitrión del circo. Él era el que aparecía en todos los carteles con su larga vara de color plateado, un enorme bigote en forma de melena, un sombrero de capa y un monóculo en su ojo izquierdo.
Presentaba el circo como la novedad más importante de todos los tiempos, con su principal atracción: el payaso Viruta.
Era un payaso que se caracterizaba por tener proporciones enormes.
Era muy gordo y aparecía como un personaje muy divertido y cómico.
El pequeño Jorge, el niño, siempre captaba su atención y se divertía mucho cuando veía los comerciales de este payaso en la televisión. Desde los seis años los veía, y a los once años realmente deseaba que su padre lo llevara al circo para presenciar el acto de Viruta.
Con tanta insistencia, el padre finalmente accedió a llevar al pequeño Jorge al circo. Llegó el tan esperado día. El pequeño Jorge no pudo dormir la noche anterior.
Se movía de un lado a otro en su cama, esperando, solo pensando en toda la emoción de poder presenciar en vivo y directo al payaso que habían estado esperando por tanto tiempo.
Llegó el día, era temprano en la mañana, el pequeño Jorge tomó su desayuno y con gran entusiasmo saludó y dio los buenos días a sus padres.
Sus padres, muy agradecidos, vieron cómo el pequeño Jorge, desde temprano, se había vestido con sus zapatos nuevos y relucientes, su mejor traje y la capucha que siempre lo caracterizaba.
En este caso, era una capucha que tenía el logo de Mario Bros, su juego favorito.
El pequeño Jorge, desde temprano, estaba listo para ir al circo. Llegó el momento final cuando ya abordaron el vehículo para ir al circo, y cada segundo que pasaba, el pequeño Jorge estaba lleno de ansias por llegar al lugar. Finalmente llegaron, hicieron fila para comprar los boletos y el pequeño Jorge escuchó la música del circo, los elefantes y los rugidos de los tigres.
La emoción estaba en su nivel más alto, además del bullicio y todo el ambiente de niños con globos, algodón de azúcar y el ambiente circense, la verdad, hacía que los niveles de dopamina subieran, no solo en los niños sino también en los padres.
Entraron, salió el presentador, anunciando y dando la bienvenida al acto con su largo bigote y presentando los primeros números, hasta que finalmente, en el medio, apareció el famoso Viruta, haciendo un acto espectacular: saltando desde una torre muy alta a una pequeña piscina de agua.
El resultado fue que salió completamente mojado, con la cara empapada y el maquillaje corrido, y en ese momento el pequeño Jorge frunció el ceño porque vio la cara del payaso y reconoció que esa cara era la misma que lo aterrorizaba desde hacía muchas noches en sus sueños: una persona que aparecía al borde de su ventana con un cuchillo y dientes muy afilados, que le decía que venía por él, a buscarlo y llevárselo.
La banda sonora de Mario Bros se escuchaba de fondo, en el ambiente.
En ese preciso momento, el pequeño Jorge estalló en llanto en medio del espectáculo y los padres quedaron asombrados sin saber qué estaba pasando.
La pesadilla se había hecho realidad.
