THE world, in part, is filled with monsters. Monsters that fill your head, monsters that fill your heart, take over a part of you.
These are not monsters like those in fiction and fantasy movies. This is a monster that eats away at your heart, piece by piece. It eats away at your humanity until all you have left is irredeemable hatred.
So what can save us from these monsters?
We have sometimes, in the most extreme circumstances, become a dark room. Where the monsters multiply, like bugs: creeping up like termites, eating away the walls of our own hearts.
At some point, we are no longer even proxies for the monsters. We have sometimes become monsters ourselves. Monsters to ourselves. Monsters to others. Monsters that destroy the moral order.
We must move against, away from the dark alleys to fight and destroy the monsters. With light. However, in the fight against monsters, always remember and be careful not to become a monster ourselves.
