It was on a Sunday morning. As usual, after waking up, I needed to tidy up before going to church. On this particular day, I was a bit late, and to make matters worse, it was raining.

As I stepped out to get a taxi to church, I was lucky to find one. On our way, we saw an elderly woman who also needed a taxi. The only available seat in the taxi was the one next to the door, and the door was open. I knew it wouldn’t be safe for her to sit there, and standing under the rain any longer wouldn’t help either, who knows how long she had already been standing there?

She stepped in and sat on the available seat. I looked at her and asked, “Would you like to swop?” She said yes. I stood up and exchanged seats with her. She smiled warmly and said, “God bless you, my son.”
