We haven't had a lot of time here lately but we wanted to be sure we entered the contest to support @freewritehouse.
I went through my photos to find one that I felt resonated with the prompt of ten years of darkness. One stuck out to me. In my mind, I managed to make it a little more dark and mysterious, but my Photoshop skills failed me. I just didn't have time to get it right. So @zeldacroft used the raw photo below to create a beautifully haunting story. I'm so proud of her!
This was taken when we visited London last year. When I took it I intended it to be a prompt for a dark story, though I was imagining my own at the time. @zeldacroft's version is better than anything I could have come up with for sure. Please check it out.
