You came when my soul was wandering lost
In the shadows of the night without light.
You wiped away my tears, new life,
With rays of rising sun and its light.
I stopped time to embrace you, new day,
To sing with the sparrows their joyful song.
To laugh and play like a child again,
To love with a pure soul, without reason.
I called spring to warm my hands,
On wings of seagulls I sought you to fly.
In the clouds that caress the sky, brothers,
Your light in the darkness I could find.
