National Flattened Teeth.
I woke from what must have been a dream with those three words, capitalized like that, but nothing about the context of the dream itself. Some kind of ad campaign? Shop at Target, 10% off everything in the store on National Flattened Teeth Day! Or was it the name of a business, a chain of demented dentistry locations? There are after all people who want their teeth sharpened for that sexy vampire look, maybe some people get a turn-on from flattened teeth. There’s all kinds of wackos out there.
Or was there some kind of xenophobia in that word National? Our people have flattened teeth but those Others don’t. Do your duty and report them to the local constabulary. We’ll take care of it from there.
Maybe it’s a computer game, where you navigate a dystopian landscape collecting teeth and as your count goes up you earn bonus tools or weapons to help you on your journey.
It might have made sense within the dream, in the way that dream-logic works. But all I got was the three words. Not enough pieces of the puzzle to work it out.
