Daily prompt titled: "Would you like to swop"?
I've been using this phone for the past 3 years now, and sincerely, I'm not happy about it because it's been so frustrating and already malfunctioning. If it's not the battery issue, it's the screen or network issues. Last year, I thought about saving from my little earnings so I could buy a new phone. That's how I started saving up. I saved for almost a year, and when I thought the money I had would get me a new phone, I stopped saving and went ahead to get one.
So, I went to a phone store (Slot) and told them I needed a phone, preferably a Samsung product, within my budget. I told them how much I had, and they said my budget wouldn't get me a good Samsung phone. I was so disappointed and sad hearing that the money I'd saved for almost a year couldn't get me a good phone.
The guy saw the look on my face and was moved to give me another option – swapping. He asked "would you want to swop your old phone to get a new one"? Once they checked the worth of my old phone, if I was interested, I'd just have to balance up for any phone of my choice. I felt like it was a good idea, so I agreed. They took the phone for surveillance, but sadly, the guy came back with the phone, saying the screen was bad and they couldn't actually swap it.
At that point, I just felt like crying out loud. I took my phone back out of frustration and went back home. This experience is actually a motivation for me to work harder and save more. The next time I go back there, I'll surely get that Samsung phone of my choice.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
