Words: outfit, footbal, acquisition, deputy, comprehensive, justify, confidence.
Atusha was standing in the dressing room looking at the lifeless body of Helen Bernard, one of the football players in the opposing team, with a horrified face. Helen was lying on her back, her hands were open, her eyes seemed to be staring at the ceiling, and her stomach where Atusha had stabbed her was full of blood.
Atusha blinked a few times and tried to use her brain. Then she grabbed Helen's legs and dragged her on the floor and took her into one of the bathroom cubicles, put the knife in her hand, wrapped her fingers around it and left the cubicle and closed the door. She also took off her bloody outfit and put it in a black garbage bag and threw it in the bin.
Atusha was sitting in the classroom and listening to the deputy's words, which were spoken in a soothing tone.
"Acquisition of physical skills is possible only by strengthening mental skills, and in the first stage, a comprehensive understanding of the world inside your brain must happen."
At that time, the world inside Atusha's brain was a dressing room and Helen's body lying on the floor. Atusha was staring at this scene in horror and was crying.
"No, no, I didn't want this to happen. Why did I lose control and attack her?"
A hand was placed on Atusha's shoulder and Atusha jumped up. It was the deputy who was standing in front of her and looking at her with concern.
"Honey, what happened? Why are you crying?"
Atusha wiped her tears with her hand.
"Nothing happened, ma'am. It's just that the training pressure has been too much lately."
"I understand. There is not much time left until the second round of the tournament and you must train hard. But please balance your schedule as much as possible."
"Aye, sure."
Atusha was sitting in front of the TV with her teammates in the dormitory and watching the news.
"This morning, the body of Helen Bernard, a football player of the Vampire Hunters team, was found in the bathroom of the stadium. At first glance, it appeared that she had committed suicide, but after further investigation, it was determined that she had been murdered and the killer had tried to make this incident look like suicide with clumsy actions."
The color jumped from Atusha's face and she looked at her shocked teammates who were talking about this incident. Then she got up, went to the rest room and closed the door behind her.
She looked at her own face in the mirror and felt that she was looking at someone else. The usual self-confidence had been removed from her eyes, and now only fear and worry could be seen in them.
"It's like I'm dying bit by bit. I've fallen into a river and I'm trying to swim and save myself, but I can't because a stone is tied to my leg."
She closed her eyes for a few moments and then opened them. This time when she looked in the mirror, she saw her old self.
"Atusha, don't try to justify for continuing this situation. Just go and get it over with."
She left the rest room and the dormitory and started walking. Her destination was the police department.
