The stone walls of the castle that seemed too big for his small stature. Priest teachers who had soulless faces and severely punished him for the slightest mistake on his part.
He was locked in a dark room full of hungry rats, and he stood in the corner of the room, trembling with fear, listening to the rats and waiting every moment for their sharp teeth sink into his bare feet.
Cyrus' childhood passed like this, in terror and with the onslaught of endless divine laws that he did not understand, an angry vindictive God who waited for the slightest mistake from him to send his priests to punish him.
And as if this was not enough, the attack of a group of vengeful witches and vampires added to his childhood nightmare.
One night he had gone to the fountain outside the castle when a group of dark creatures surrounded him and started harassing him. The witches burned his body with fiery sparks and the vampires dug their fangs all over his body and drank his blood. Then they left his half-dead body in the grass.
The next morning, when the priests found him and took him to the castle, the verdict was that Cyrus himself was as guilty as the dark creatures. If he was a pious servant and had more faith in God, witches and vampires could not harm him in this way.
He was severely punished and shunned and treated like a leper, and when he graduated, he was sent to a small church in a remote village.
Now Cyrus was in the same church and he was sitting next to the grave of the dark creatures, sobbing and his tears were falling on the tombstone.
At the same time, Abraham, who was doing his night walk, saw him and came to him, knelt next to him and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Why are you crying?"
"Abraham, you have forgiven me, but will your friends who lie here forgive me? What if their ghosts seek revenge on me?"
"Then I will protect you."
"Ah, how can you be so nice to me? Even after that horrible thing I did?"
"Cyrus, who committed that terrible deed, was burned and destroyed. Cyrus, who is sitting here, is pure and virtuous."
Upon hearing this sentence, Cyrus smiled, with a mixture of sadness and happiness in it, and then wrapped his arms around Abraham and laid his head on his broad chest. Abraham wrapped his arms around him, too and the two of them stayed like that for a while.
Tomorrow morning, they were supposed to board a ship and go to the same land where the central unit of the Raven's Wing organization was located. A new chapter in the life of Wizard Abraham and Priest Cyrus was about to begin.
