All About Rickshaw And Rickshaw Puller

Commonly Found Vehicle In My City- Rickshaw

Rickshaw is a very commonly found vehicle in Dhaka city. Many people choose to be a rickshaw puller because in Dhaka city a rickshaw puller earn really good. Once I read a post where there a student compared the salary of a graduate with the earning of rickshaw puller and the earning of rickshaw puller was more than a graduate job holder. That was a really sad post because many people after graduation do low paid job for unavailability of job vacancies.

Many poor students pull rickshaw for continue their study. People prefer going nearest places via rickshaw and rickshaw pullers also charge more money than other vehicles. In the past a rickshaw pullers pulled rickshaw physically but now most of them are charging system automatic vehicle as a result pulling rickshaw doesn’t make a rickshaw puller tired and exhausted. Things are getting digital and modern so why not rickshaws.

Recently I was passing a footpath where there many rickshaws were parked. I took the photo and you can see the result as photograph above. Up and downs everywhere and it same about pulling rickshaw. The day its raining all day long, rickshaw pullers can't go out to earn money. Many people like me prefer waking more instead having a ride on rickshaw. There are huge rickshaw, which one you need just call. They are always ready for passengers.

Their life is hard as they get paid only when they get a passenger and sometimes they could make a little amount that may can't fulfill the family needs. Rickshaw pullers in my city may earn good but only when they get passengers and when there is no rain.I feel pity when I think about their life. There are very few rickshaw puller whose earn good luck by chance or having regular riders as they hire rickshaw for everyday transport. That can be their contractual job or regular earning source for a time.
