Immediately I entered the venue, I didn’t know I will be called upon to minister. arrangement for the day was unclear, and I wasn't prepared to speak. But immediately I took my seat position I can attest to the presence of God I felt all around me
Suddenly, the host called my name, and I was invited to take the stage. It was as if the joystick of my life had moved un-noticed, and I needed to respond fast. In gaming, a joystick is used to pass through uncharted territories, making split-second decisions that determine the outcome. In that time, I felt like I was holding a spiritual joystick, guiding me through the unknown.
With the long term experience I had in ministry , I've learned to believe in God's sovereignty, even when the path ahead is unclear. As I mount the stage, I felt a sense of tranquility wash over me, like the gentle grip of a joystick in my hand. I began to minister, and the words flowed effortlessly, like a game controller passing through a well-designed course.
As I reflect on that experience, I'm reminded that the joystick of faith is not just about passing the stage; it's about passing life's uncertainties with confidence and purpose. When we believe in God's sovereignty, we can overcome any situation with courage and conviction, knowing that He's guiding us every step of the way.
I came to understand that is not about preparation; it's about being responsive to the promptings of the Spirit. It's about believing in God's goodness, even when the path ahead is unclear.
