Well, it seems that in addition to experiences, memories, and good photos, I brought something else back from FEZ last weekend.
My wife started on Monday with diarrhea, vomiting, a low-grade fever, and general malaise... I didn't have any symptoms until yesterday afternoon when I started having severe headaches that I attributed to work stress... However, last night was very bad. I woke up several times feeling unwell and feverish, which got worse. This morning my thermometer read 37.8 degrees, which isn't much, but considering it's also very hot, I decided not to go to the office today and work from home.
I attended the weekly team meeting, which lasted about three hours, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and when it was over, I announced to my colleagues that I was going to be absent for the rest of the day because I wasn't feeling well...
Now, after taking 1 gram of paracetamol and sleeping for about 4 hours, I woke up a little dizzy, with a headache, but the fever seems to have subsided, so I'm taking the opportunity to finish some work and write these lines...
It's been a while since I felt this bad. It reminds me of the symptoms of COVID, and maybe it is. I haven't been tested... My wife is still in bed, feeling a little better than me, but her body aches haven't completely gone away.
We'll see tomorrow...
