I can't help thinking that what I read doesn't mean the same. 'Pushing her out' is not the same as 'free her' or is it me "complaining" over the meaning of a word? "Her" seems to be what those 28 have in common.
Is sending her away the same as a chocolate bar falling out of (eject) the machine after you paid?
It might be good for a story. Hers for sale, being pushed out after you paid 10k for the AI doll to keep you company or do some house chores. Let's hope it's not one of those rebellious robots fighting their owners like in the films 'Real Human' and 'Companion'. If you are gifted with such a robot, it's better to reject it.
