I don't think you remember, but some time ago I had brought a post here telling that a friend had suffered an accident in his house where two rooms of his house were burned, just at that time there were some power cuts in Buenos Aires Argentina that lasted a few days, he decided to use a candle to illuminate and this ended up generating a fire.

No creo que recuerden, pero ya hace bastante tiempo había traído un post por aquí contando que un amigo había sufrido un accidente en su casa donde se quemaron dos cuartos de su casa, justo en ese tiempo hubo unos cortes de luz en Buenos Aires Argentina que duraron unos días, el decidido usar una vela para iluminar y esta termino generando un incendio.
Sadly this unfortunate event hit him hard both morally and economically, luckily he had savings, but he did not plan to use them for this, although he was able to meet the expenses, thanks to Hive I was also able to help him with the proceeds of the post which, if I remember correctly, at the time allowed him to buy two bags of cement that, believe it or not helped him to alleviate some of the economic burden.
Tristemente este hecho desafortunado le pego dura tanto moralmente como en su economía, por suerte tenia ahorros, pero el no pensaba usarlos para esto, aunque pudo afrontar los gastos, gracias a Hive tambien pude ayudarlo con las ganancias el posteo lo cual, si mal no recuerdo, en su momento le permitieron comprar dos bolsas de cemento que, aunque no lo crean le sirvió para alivianar un poco la carga económica.

Here I share with you the progress after a few weeks of cleaning, since I had to remove everything that was burned, see what could be rescued, clean the interior with the hydro washer and wait for everything to dry to start the reconstruction work. The heat and the fire caused some parts of the wall to crack, so I had to use a hammer and chisel to remove everything that was damaged and then reinforce it with cement.
Por aquí les comparto los avances luego de unas semanas de limpieza, ya que toco sacar todo lo quemado, ver que se podía rescatar, limpiar con la hidro lavadora todo el interior y esperar a que seque todo para comenzar con los trabajos de reconstrucción. El calor y el fuego provoco que en algunas partes la pared se agrietara así que toco usar un martillo y un cincel para retirar todo lo que estaba dañado para posteriormente reforzarlo con cemento.

In the main room where the fire originated, we lifted all the ceramic floor and put a new one because it had broken, we had to buy ceramic boxes, hire skilled masons to lay the floor and luckily having acquaintances and people willing to help, we got a good price for the labor, both he and I were able to learn a little of the trade, collaborate and finish the tasks faster.
En la habitación principal donde se origino el fuego levantamos todo el piso de cerámica y colocamos nuevo debido a que esta se había quebrado, toco comprar cajas de cerámica, contratar albañiles capacitados para colocar el suelo y por suerte al tener conocidos y gente dispuesta a ayudar consiguió un buen precio por la mano de obra, tanto el como yo pudimos aprender un poco del oficio, colaborar y terminar con las tareas más rápido.

Aprovechando lo sucedido realizamos un cambio de todos los cables del sistema eléctrico, lo cual tambien significo algo de dinero extra pero ya que estaba haciendo casi todo de cero mejor invertir un poco más para que todo quede excelente, sumado a que no sabíamos si los cables habían sido dañados por el fuego.
As I mentioned before, these are all old photos, but after a few months my friend was able to move back into his house, have beautifully painted walls, get furniture again and keep moving forward. In spite of having lost a lot, he did not give up, but he made an even greater effort to recover what he had lost, to improve and to advance even more than before. He himself recognizes that even though it was something very negative, it helped him to overcome, to know himself and to know who he could really count on in this type of situation.
Como mencione anteriormente todas estas son fotos viejas, pasados unos cuantos meses mi amigo pudo nuevamente habitar su casa, tener unas hermosas paredes pintadas, volver a conseguir muebles y seguir avanzando. A pesar de haber perdido mucho, el no bajo los brazos, sino que se esforzó aun más para recuperar lo perdido, mejorar y avanzar aun más que antes. El mismo reconoce que a pesar de haber sido algo muy negativo le sirvió para superarse, conocerse y saber con quienes realmente podía contar en este tipo de situaciones.
