Una introducción necesaria
Por tal razón he querido hacer mi primera publicación y no había podido, a pesar de las iniciativas sobre los Reyes Magos y las Vacaciones. Pero hoy me he decidido y lo he querido hacer con un escrito en el que les explicaré cómo me enamoré de este país.
Por tal razón, este tango escrito tendrá los elementos que me hicieron saber de Argentina y cómo me enamoré de ese hermoso país y, para hacerlo, tomaré tres elementos que me encantan: El deporte, la geografía y la cultura.
Argentina y tres aspectos que me enamoraron
Geografía argentina
Quien escribe es licenciado en Geografía y es un aspecto que le ha permitido viajar y conocer mediante esta ciencia a muchos países del planeta. Por tal razón, tengo una lista de países que son de mis preferidos y, este es uno de ellos.
Varios son los elementos que pudiera argumentar, pero, su geografía es una de ellas. En la medida que estudiaba, me parecía más increíble este país por la gran variedad de su clima, por la extensión territorial que tiene, por el Chaco, la Pampa, las hermosas cataratas del Iguazú y por tener uno de los principales sistemas montañosos del mundo, dentro de los que destaca: El Aconcagua, donde está una de las principales alturas del planeta, con casi 7000 metros de altura.
Argentina y su cultura
Otro de los aspectos que me hizo admirar y querer este país es su amplia cultura, pero, la cultura en su amplio espectro, con la música como centro y la comida típica que la distingue.
Reconozco que siempre he querido sentarme a comer un asado argentino con sus empanadas, es algo que anhelo con todo mi corazón. Usted podrá decir que puedo hacerlo, pero no sería autóctono ni tendría algunos de los secretos culinarios que le ponen los argentinos.

Sin embargo, la cantante argentina que me maravilla y me llena el alma es Mercedes Sosa o la Negra, como le decían. Debe ser por la manera de contar las canciones, por el mensaje que transmitió a través de la música o porque era de las cantantes preferidas de mi madre.
Cada vez que la escuchaba cantar, dejaba lo que estaba haciendo y me ponía a escucharla. En cambio, cuando cantaba la canción de León Gieco titulada “Solo le pido a Dios”, sencillamente mis ojos llovían. Puedo decir que, a día de hoy, esta canción me sigue lacerando el alma por las verdades que narra.
Argentina, Maradona y el fútbol
Pero, lo que realmente me hizo ser amante de este país fue Diego Armando Maradona y su manera de jugar el fútbol.
Esta publicación no pretende polemizar, sobre quién es mejor o peor, no es su objetivo, pero, este fue un jugador único y me puso en el corazón el amor por el fútbol. Es cierto que ya Argentina había ganado el mundial que había organizado en 1978 y que tenía a ídolos como Daniel Pasarella o “El Matador” Mario Kempes o que hoy tiene a Leonel Messi, pero, Maradona me hizo admirador de este país por siempre.
Maradona y el Mundial de México1986
En 1986 yo tenía 19 años. Sabía que había un deporte que tenía un balón al que se le daba con el pie y se trataba de meter en la portería. Confieso que nunca había visto un partido de fútbol completo porque no me atraía mucho. Maradona y Argentina se encargaron de cambiar eso.
Hay un partido que marca un punto de inflexión en aquel mundial: Argentina vs Inglaterra y, aunque no se quiera ver así, ese juego resultaba una revancha argentina y un partido de honor, por lo sucedido en Las Malvinas. Y, en ese partido, Maradona demostró la grandeza y unas palabras que no se pueden decir.
En la victoria de 2 por 1 recuerdo todavía los dos goles que han sido de lo mejor de la historia de los mundiales: El primero es conocido como la “Mano de Dios” y, el segundo, es el mejor gol de los mundiales y uno de los más bellos que he visto en mi vida y he visto bastante.

Argentine Geography
This writer has a degree in Geography and it is an aspect that has allowed him to travel and learn about many countries of the planet through this science. For this reason, I have a list of countries that are among my favorites and this is one of them.
There are several elements that I could argue, but its geography is one of them. As I studied, I found this country more incredible for the great variety of its climate, for the territorial extension it has, for the Chaco, the Pampa, the beautiful Iguazú Falls and for having one of the main mountain systems in the world, among which stands out: Aconcagua, where is one of the main heights of the planet, with almost 7000 meters high.
