La Misma Huella
Tu dedo acusa un eco de metal,
mi verso, dices, sin pulso ni verdad,
sentenciando mi voz artificial.
En silenciosa y diáfana revancha,
miro el cristal que tu palabra mancha,
buscando el alma que tu tinta ensancha.
Y oh, sorpresa, el espejo me devuelve
la misma trama que tu juicio envuelve,
la misma sombra que al final te absuelve.
Quien juzga el pulso ajeno con fiereza,
no ve la viga de su propia pieza,
la misma máquina en su fortaleza.
Quizá compartimos, sin quererlo, un nido,
un mismo aliento de un cristal nacido…

Same Footprint.
Your finger accuses an echo of metal,
my verse, you say, without pulse or truth,
sentencing my artificial voice.
In silent and diaphanous revenge,
I look at the glass that your word stains,
looking for the soul that your ink widens.
And oh, surprise, the mirror returns to me
the same plot that your judgement envelops,
the same shadow that in the end absolves you.
He who judges the pulse of others with fierceness,
does not see the beam of his own piece,
the same machine in his fortress.
Perhaps we share, unwittingly, a nest,
the same breath of a crystal born…
