How magnificent this wind,
beautiful this sea!
Incomparable it is,
what more could it be?
As if-
The sea is the father,
his sons are the waves.
Its beauty is everything,
after which man craves,
It is beautiful,
though hidden fear it holds.
Tell,
how many sailors could survive
its storms and have their tales to be told?
This sea-
Gives us much to live for,
but also brings death.
Yet it fascinates us,
takes away our breath.
This sea-
Rages everything on its path
with destruction through
its deadly storms.
Once we are lost in it,
we cannot find life;
but only death and roam.
But do not believe
that I despise this sea,
It made me kind;
which I could never be.
The Lord Himself designed it
with gems and pearls.
Man dives deep for its charms,
takes it away as he hurls.
Thank you, dear Lord!
For having us with this sea to be met.
Fill our hearts with hope, love and faith,
Wash away our greed, lust and hate!
Magnificent this view,
majestic this sea-Beautiful it is,
what more could it be?
Our cities lie in the dust,
Why have we lost our way?
All are filled with greed,
hatred and lust,
We are so far away-From heaven.
How monstrous have we become!
Always looking for blood enrages,
No matter how far we run.
We are just monsters who
released from being caged,
Far away-From heaven.
There is no peace;
Only peace and faith we crave!
From the ever-flowing rivers-Of Heaven.
Let all weapons lie in rust.
Let all battles and bloodshed be done,
Do you not know that our cities lie in dust?
Oh Ever Merciful!
Forgive us for what we have done.
Let us begin again,
Help us conquer the ever-rising sun.
Cleanse our hearts with your blessings through rain.
Once again,
Our cities will shine bright
From the ruins of this dust
It will soon be a blissful sight.
Bending us with peace
and filling us with trust,
And never again shall
our cities lie in dust!
With💙
