Like a painter's work on a new piece
The river carves a different path
Each drop a sculpture, day by day
Until the former fades away, a memory lost in the wind
Pictures on the wall, bright and promising
But as the day goes by, they fade their beauty to time
Mountains rise, ocean fall
Responding to nature's call
A tiny seed, a mighty tree
A change in time, an enemy to all
For in the dance of ebb and flow
The greatest transformations grow
In our hearts, a similar tide
Where old beliefs no longer ride
In us gleams a new insight
An awakening to a future to fear or embrace
