Hello to the entire HIVE community, this is my fifth post, and this will be my presentation.
I am Frank Duna Arroyave Gomez, a cellist and guitarist, and the son of the Colombian poet Francisco Luis Arroyave Tabares. I am an independent musician and have dedicated myself to the formation of youth and children's orchestras in the field of string instruments for the past 18 years. I steal sounds from silence, as well as some words, but not in the structure of my father.
I have created this blog with the purpose of showcasing the work of my father, even though the work was registered in 1989, it was never published. My father was very reluctant to deal with publishers and always wanted to do it on his own terms. However, what he did was refine his "Children without genes" until October 1, 2010, when he returned to the universe.
Yes, it is a work of 175 sonnets written in English and 99 euphonic verses in Spanish, composed during a sentence he served in a federal prison in the United States from 1982 until February 1989.
A brief history of Francisco Luis:
He was born in Colombia in 1948. At the age of 20, he received a scholarship to study biochemistry in California. In the United States, he transitioned from being a seminarian to a hippie throughout his life. His youth and knowledge of chemistry led him to explore the world of drug creation, specifically cocaine. This resulted in his federal prison sentence from 1982 to 1989. His sentence was reduced from almost 40 years to 7 in prison due to his continuous studies while incarcerated. He always appreciated the fact that in federal prisons, it was possible to study very well, as they provided him with the books he needed for his studies of sonnets and euphonic verses in Spanish, a style rarely used in his native language. He left behind a treatise with rules and 99 euphonic verses that were also registered but never published.
He lived in Medellin from 1989 when he returned to Colombia until his death in 2010. He worked as a naturopath, another field of study he pursued in prison, where he was nicknamed "El Galeno" because he often practiced reflexotherapy with other inmates. He passed away due to an ulcer that he refused to operate on because he had healed himself on two previous occasions.
There are many uses for artificial intelligence. In my case, I don't use it to create poetry; I simply use it for analysis since it is very difficult to find people willing to study an unknown poet in a language that, while universal, is not spoken by everyone in Colombia. However, artificial intelligence has many errors; it sometimes confuses sonnets in the style of Petrarch with Shakespeare and vice versa, and it never counts syllables correctly. As I mentioned earlier, I am not a poet; at this moment, I am more like what Herman Hesse would say in "The Glass Bead Game," the son of the rainmaker, and my mission is to transmit the word, in this case, 175 sonnets in the style of Shakespeare and Petrarch, all to perfect the Euphonic Verse, his masterpiece in Spanish. Among his 99 Euphonic Verses and his 175 sonnets in English, he only wrote 3 poems in free verse, one in English dedicated to my mother and me called "A Flower For My Solitude," and two in Spanish.
Regarding the illustrations generated by artificial intelligence, I also use it because I am not a good artist, nor am I a graphic designer, and just like with the sonnets, I wouldn't have the resources to pay for their analysis and illustrations. And, as I said, any enthusiast of the form is free to study the 175 works of this Colombian poet.
I am a musician, and in some ways, it may seem overwhelming that artificial intelligence can replace us when it comes to creating, but it will never feel what it is like to take a breath and be left breathless by a description that words alone could never reach.
If you see any errors in the syllable count of the sonnets, I apologize in advance and welcome any corrections. I use a syllable counter for this purpose, and I'm aware it can have errors.

Saludos a toda la comunidad de HIVE, esta es mi quinto post y este será mi presentación.
Soy Frank Duna Arroyave Gómez, chelista y guitarrista hijo del poeta colombiano Francisco Luis Arroyave Tabares. soy músico independiente, y me he dedicado a la formación de orquestas juveniles e infantiles en el área de cuerdas frotadas durante los últimos 18 años. Le robo sonidos al silencio al igual que algunas palabras, pero no con la estructura de mi padre.
He creado este Blog con el fin de dar a conocer la obra de Francisco Luis, dado que aun cuando la obra fue registrada en el año 1989, no fue publicada; mi padre fue muy reacio a tratar con editoriales y siempre lo quiso hacer por sus propios medios, pero lo que hizo fue pulir sus hijos sin genes hasta el 1 de octubre de 2010 que se entrego de nuevo al universo.
y si, es una obra de 175 sonetos en ingles y 99 versos eufónicos en español, escritos durante una pena que cumplió en una cárcel federal de los estados unidos entre los años 1982 hasta febrero del año 1989.
Una breve historia acerca de Francisco Luis.
Nació en Colombia en 1948. A los 20 años, recibió una beca para estudiar bioquímica en California. En Estados Unidos, hizo la transición de ser seminarista a hippie durante toda su vida. Su juventud y conocimiento en química lo llevaron a explorar el mundo de la creación de drogas, específicamente la cocaína. Esto resultó en su condena a prisión federal de 1982 a 1989. Su sentencia se redujo de casi 40 años a 7 en prisión debido a sus estudios continuos mientras estaba encarcelado. Siempre apreció el hecho de que en las prisiones federales era posible estudiar muy bien, ya que le proporcionaban los libros que necesitaba para sus estudios del soneto y el verso eufónico en español. Este último es un estilo raramente usado en su lengua materna, y del que dejó un tratado con reglas y 99 versos eufónicos también registrados y sin publicar.
Vivió en Medellín desde 1989 que regreso a Colombia hasta su muerte en 2010. Se dedicó a trabajar como naturópata, que fue otro campo de estudio que persiguió en prisión, donde fue apodado "El Galeno" porque a menudo practicaba reflexoterapia con otros reclusos. Falleció debido a una úlcera que se negó a operarse porque él se había curado a si mismo en dos ocasiones anteriores.
Hay muchos usos que se le dan a la inteligencia artificial, en mi caso no la uso para crear poesía, solo trato de hacer un análisis dado que es muy difícil encontrar personas dispuestas a estudiar a un poeta desconocido, y en un lenguaje que aun cuando es universal no todos lo hablan en Colombia; igual la inteligencia artificial tiene muchos errores, en ocasiones confunde sonetos de estilo Petrarca con Shakespeare y viceversa, nunca cuenta bien las silabas, en fin, como dije anteriormente no soy un poeta, en este momento cumplo mas bien como lo diría Herman Hesse en El Juego De Los Abalorios soy el hijo del hacedor de la lluvia y mi misión es transmitir la palabra en este caso. son 175 sonetos al estilo de Shakespeare y Petrarca, todo esto para perfeccionar el Verso Eufónico, su obra maestra en español. Entre sus 99 Versos Eufónicos y sus 175 sonetos en ingles solo escribió 3 poemas en verso libre, uno en ingles dedicado a mi madre y a mi llamado "Una Flor Para Mi Soledad" y dos en español.
En cuanto las ilustraciones generadas por la inteligencia artificial también las genero porque no soy buen dibujante, tampoco soy diseñador grafico y al igual que los sonetos no tendría los recursos para pagar por sus análisis e ilustraciones. Y como digo, cualquier entusiasta de la forma esta libre de estudiar los 175 de este poeta colombiano.
Soy musico, y en cierta forma podría parecer abrumante que nos pueda reemplazar la inteligencia artificial a la hora de crear, pero nunca sentirá lo que es tomar el aire y quedarse sin aliento por una descripción que ni las palabras podrían alcanzar.
