What's up people?! It's your favourite new weekly prompt writer. How was the weekend? Hope it went well cuz mine was splendid! It's a new week and with it comes a new prompt!
We'll be writing on 'Solitude' this week. Solitude isn't just the absence of others—it's a presence all its own. For this prompt, dive deep into the moments where you were alone—not lonely, but truly in your own company.
Was it peaceful? Haunting? Empowering? Strange?
Were you in a quiet room, on a long walk, at the edge of a city, or lost in your own thoughts?
Did solitude bring clarity or confusion?
Explore the textures of silence, the way time stretches or folds in stillness. Let your imagery breathe—describe shadows, echoes, reflections, inner monologues, or even conversations with yourself.
Bonus challenge: Let your last stanza suggest what you discovered in that stillness—something you wouldn’t have found in the noise of the world.
Go go go!!!
