There is a new token coming out that all the poets of Blockchain Poets may be interested in.
There will be an airdrop of the token in just day (or less, depending on when you read this) and you can start earning the token on your posts with some new tags. Read on!
Writers Token (WIT)
The new token is called "Writers Token" and will use the WIT symbol. This will be a token in support of creative writing, of which poetry is a part.
On your poetry posts, use either #creativewriting, #creative-writing, or #writing to receive WIT tokens for your posts. (If you are doing other creative writing, you may also use #fiction or #worldbuilding; depending on your poem, one of these may also apply, I suppose).
Now, that's the token. Simple enough. Tag your posts with to to start getting some. But... how can you start off with a lot of it? Well... the first way to get the token will be the forthcoming airdrop, the snapshot for which is on Dec 31st.
Airdrop
Everyone who delegates CCC to @cccf will receive WIT at a 1:1 ratio (e.g., if you delegate 1000 CCC, you will receive 1000 WIT in the airdrop).
The snapshot will be on Dec 31 and the airdrop will be the very next day. So if you want in on the airdrop, you will have to hurry. Many of you may already be delegating your CCC tokens to @cccf. They pay a fairly good dividend once per week, which averages at about 30% (looking at my own tracking in my spreadsheet). But if you aren't, go ahead and delegate quickly so you can get in on the airdrop.
Remember, the snapshot for the airdrop is on Dec 31. Delegate before that date.
CCC Delegation
There is another benefit to delegating your CCC tokens to @cccf. If you are delegating more than 10,000 CCC tokens, in addition to the regular weekly CCC payout, you will also receive a WIT payout.
At the moment, the WIT payout will be the same as the CCC payout (e.g., if you receive 5 CCC, you will also receive 5 WIT).
But wait, there's more!
WIT Staking
If you are delegating 10,000 CCC to @cccf AND staking your WIT, you will receive a second CCC payout. Wow!
In Summery
In summery:
- Use #creativewriting, #creative-writing, or #writing on your poetry posts to start receiving WIT tokens.
- Delegate your CCC tokens to @cccf before Dec 31st in order to receive the WIT airdrop
- Delegate more than 10000 CCC tokens to @cccf in order to receive a weekly WIT payout (in addition to the CCC payout)
- Delegate more than 10000 CCC tokens to @cccf AND stake your WIT in order to receive a second weekly CCC payout.
