These pictures and story were from three years ago, a very special time in our lives. My mother was still with us here in Malaysia. We were staying in our very first house, which my husband and I bought this just after we got married. And during that time, the house was still under construction. That time we only had two kids, my daughter Arianne and my son Ronian, his in the Philippines at the moment. The kids can’t wait to move in after they saw how big the swimming pool. After the house was ready to occupy, we quickly moved in and enjoyed our new home as a family.
When I saw all these photos, I remembered our daily evening routine with the kids. After their afternoon nap, I will always bring them down to the playground and swimming pool. It became our daily, simple but full of joy. The kids really looking forward to play outside, running around, and splashing the water. Their laughter and energy filled the air, and I feel so happy just watching them. Even if it was just simple play or swimming, seeing my children smile made my heart full. I enjoyed every single moment with them. As a mother, every small this is important to me.
My husband and I promised each other that we would always give our children a happy and peaceful environment to grow up in. We believe that kids don’t need expensive toys or fancy places — they just need love, time, and space to play and be happy. And that is what we try our best to give them every day. Looking back at these pictures brings so many sweet memories. I will always treasure this time in our first home, but we decided to move just next to the school of our two daughters for convenience. And this house we give for rental. When my mother was with us, and when our children were still very small. We make a lot of good memories at that house.
