Jutro je bilo sveže, a vazduh gust od mirisa borova i vlažne zemlje. Sunčevi zraci su se probijali kroz krošnje, crtajući zlatne šare po stazi. Hodala sam polako, osećajući kako mi se pluća šire od čistog vazduha, a svaki korak po mekoj mahovini bio je poput laganog plesa sa šumom.
The morning was fresh, and the air was thick with the smell of pines and damp earth. The sun's rays broke through the treetops, drawing golden patterns on the path. I walked slowly, feeling my lungs expand from the clean air, and each step on the soft moss was like a slow dance with the forest.
Ptice su pevale iznad mene, njihove pesme mešale su se sa šuštanjem lišća. Negde u daljini začulo se lomljenje grančica — možda srna, možda samo vetar. Oh, plavi cvetić!
Birds sang above me, their songs mingling with the rustling of leaves. Somewhere in the distance there was the snapping of twigs—perhaps a doe, perhaps just the wind. Oh, blue flower!
Osmehnula sam se, nastavljajući dublje, vođena onim neobjašnjivim osećajem da te šuma poznaje, da svaki hrast i svaki bor pamte sve one koji su prolazili pre tebe.

Zaustavila sam se kod proplanka, gde se sunce slobodnije spuštalo.Grejalo je stenu koja je bila svedok lepote.
Trava joj je bila najbolji prijatelj.
I stopped at a glade, where the sun descended more freely. It warmed the rock that was a witness of beauty.
Grass was her best friend.
Bilo je nešto posebno u toj tišini. Ne ona neprijatna tišina grada kada nestane struje, već ona koja te ispunjava, tera da dišeš sporije i gledaš pažljivije. Kao da ti šuma šapuće da nema potrebe za žurbom.
U mojoj šumi možeš naći i prijatelje...
There was something special about that silence. Not the unpleasant silence of the city when the electricity goes out, but the one that fills you up, makes you breathe more slowly and look more carefully. It's as if the forest is whispering to you that there is no need to rush.

Dok sam se vraćala, sunce je već počelo da tone, bojeći nebo u narandžasto i ljubičasto. Svaki korak nazad bio je kao mali oproštaj, ali bez tuge — znaš da ćeš se vratiti.
Ponekad je sve što ti treba jedan dan u šumi da podsetiš sebe kako je jednostavno biti srećan.
