I found this in my electronics box. I actually don't have a Nintendo 64 at my residence. In fact, when I first played Turok games, it was on my parents' console. The reason why I have this cartridge is because a friend gave it to me for my birthday back in college. At the time, one of our roommates had a N64.
Of all the Turok titles out there, I have played the first one, this one, and Rage Wars. I never had a chance to play Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion, and the same goes for later titles on the PS2 and PS3.
What is special about Seeds of Evil is that it was the first main Turok game I managed to complete without cheats. Back when I was a kid, my brother and I would always mess around with different settings through the cheat menu.
When I look back, the shotgun and shredder were too overpowered. I mean, they were pretty much hit-scan weapons that had no visible penalties from long range. In terms of total game time, I would say Rage Wars took the cake. That's story for another time.
While I have fond memories of this game, I didn't know the series originated from comics until college. To be frank, I never bothered to search them out and understand the lore behind the Lost Lands and so on.
