Do you remember JetForce Gemini? It was a c. 1999 Nintendo 64 game. It's like if you mashed Mario 64 with Ocarina with Metroid. Kinda.
It was developed by Rare, Ltd.
Like a lot of N64 games, it's not a first-person-shooter. The industry had not devolved to that quite yet. There's even a two-player mode, which is a rather neat trick for a game this old.
Later in the game, you can unlock the ability to play as the other two characters, who all have different abilities.
