a. done no issueChange default Vote preferance.
a. Done. Had to close then reopen the feed page for change to take effect. Previous levels held until the feed page was closed then reopened.Muted account.
a. Seems to not work quite right yet. here is the account I muted:
After muting I reloaded my feed page, muted account was still showing on initial post where I had muted the account. I went to there page and comments section and clicked on three comments they had made, and the comments when I went to the page were muted.
b. However when I did an explore of all Topics/Recent I scrolled and checked a few post and got to this one:
And the muted account commet as you can see below showed up, and was not muted:
c. So not fully muted yet.I Could not find where the muted account went, where it got added. A solution to make it easier to find accounts an individual has muted:
a.I think adding a couple of features would make the use of the connections view a bit more user friendly. Right now all followers, and following accounts need to load and then depending on how many are in the list can make the scroll bar rather long. to alleviate this:
a.
b. When used in conjuction with this option I think people would find the list much more manigable:By having a limit on the number of accounts displayed, and using the sort by function this may make it easier to find the account they were looking for. I don't know if it would be posssible or not, but a sort choice of dead accounts, (accounts with no activity for 30 days), would make it a lot easier to maintain a real list.
Conclusion
I started out with some very basic testing, things that I felt a first time user would want to change from the get-go. Setting up the personal look went fine no issue. We all know, no matter what a persons personal social media back ground is, troll activity is not appreciated. While checking on the vote reset I found an account I could try the mute function out on. That did not go so well, but did lead to a couple of suggestion from testing that function.
I do hope to try testing some more user items in the future.
