The Wallet Page Test
Testing Environment
- Operating System: Windows 7 Pro
- Logging Method: Peak Lock
- Supplemental Log in: Hive Keychain (used for Market actions)
- Browser: Chrome (Version 81.0.4044.122)
Hive Tokens (HIVE)
- Send function, (Transfer HIVE), test: No significant issue, I would suggest a couple more option over pasting our active key, by utilizing Hive Keychain and Hviesigner options
- Transfer to Savings No issues at all worked smoothly, same suggestion for the Confirm transaction.
- Market: Not such an easy thing. The Market screen loaded just fine, then I ran into this small road block:
The Sign In box was greyed out. After un-clicking the "Keep me logged in" box the Sign In box activated.
To further test the function I logged out leaving the Keep me logged in check box un-checked:
After clicking the Keep me logged in check box the Sign in key became active. Now both check boxes are checked
At this time I had some things that needed to be taken care of, so I closed out my browsers, and shut down my computer. After about two and a half hours we were back at home and I was back to testing. As you can see both boxes remained check, and most importantly the Sign In box was in an active state:
Purchase time First image is the first purchase showing the purchase went through:
After this purchase I re-booted and re-logged on using peaklock for my second purchase test:
Screens changed to fast for me to get the suspenseful screen shot, but there were no issues at all, no Returning User pop up just straight to the market page and purchase, There were no issues with being logged in via peaklock, and using Hive keychain for action verification.
Staked Hive Tokens - Hive Power (HP)
Delegate HP No real issue, worked smoothly, same as first suggestion more verification options.
Claim Account Creation Token
It is very nice a person does not need as much Hive as they did steem to create an account, I only have about 3700 HP, and have been able to claim account tokens, As can be seen I had two tokens already;
Token creation does cost quite a bit of Resource Credits:
As you can see I now have 3 tokens available:
- Time for the next step, create an account
So far so good and very easy to follow. I did save the keys and I also downloaded the keys and stored them.
Once again more confimation action choice would be beneficial but pasting works easy enough. Verification of the account creation process:
As you can see above I am in the process of adding my created account to peaklock, and below the successfully added account.
Functions Tested
- Hive Tokens (HIVE)
- Send Function, no significant issue
- Power Up Not tested, I have used it with in the last three or four days, and it worked fine.
- Transfer to Savings No issues
- Market Not an easy start, but after getting past the tiny road block no issues
Staked Hive Tokens - Hive Power (HP)
- Delegate HP No issues
- Power Down Not yet for me even for a test
- Claim Account Creation Token No issues - Pretty simple I would suggest adding a paragraph under the Hive Economics section about the cost of account creation with the estimated HP needed and the resource credits it would cost.
- Create Account with Token No Issues - Pretty straight forward, I feel there is sufficient notice to individual to copy the key, and to save them and they are given the choice to download the keys also.
Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)
- SEND No issues as easy and the same as sending HIVE.
- Convert to HIVE In Process results in 3.5 days
- Transfer to Savings No issues
- Market* No issues
Hive SBI Units
- This will need to be tested by another individual, due to current down vote environment I am avoiding SBI for now.
Hive Savings
- Withdraw Hive In Progress results in 3 days
- Withdraw HBD In Progress results in 3 days
- I will report if there are any issues with the pending actions.
Conclusion
I think all the testing went pretty good, with the exception of the initial problems of market actions, no real significant issues. Even that was not to significant, just counter intuitive to click then click again to get things to work.
After doing a lot of copy and pasting of my active key for the test, i think the addition of a Hive Keychain and Hivesigner option on the Confirm transaction box would be great,
