When we hover over a post's payout, we see the expected or past payout in Hive rewards. However, we've grown beyond rewards only in Hive (or HBD). Hive Engine is the first second layer that adds additional token rewards on top of the Hive rewards. Currently, PeakD doesn't show these rewards. But they exist. It would be cool if we can show the multiple tokens people can get by posting and curating on Hive.
One way this could be done is in the post payout tooltip - show the Hive rewards and below that show additional token rewards (if any).
I know there is currently a change planned in Hive Engine - moving from the centralized Scotbot to a smart contract (which will give us decentralized Smart Media Tokens). I don't know if this planned change will have any impact on the way you can get the expected or past payout of a post. But in any case, if the community-specific frontends (like LeoFinance or Proof of Brain) are able to fetch the payouts, it should be possible for other frontends like PeakD to do this as well, I imagine.
Thoughts? Does it seem like a good idea?
