There are always a way to get yourself thinking positively for the future. FOr me it is the notion that one day, my kids or kids kids will one day embark on a grand adventure to another planet. In fact the thought that if science does its role well and the vitamins and supplements I have purchased and taken or are taking will enable me to live long enough I will see humanity be able to set foot on a distant planet within our galaxy, mind you but still that to me is the most exciting thought in my whole being.
My dream.
You have to have a dream, mine is fairly simple. To be able to own an autonomous asteroid miner with a built in 3d printer. How do you power this. There is solar which is doable and has a good track record, only thing I can think of a con for it is the size in terms of area being big to power something like an autonomous miner. Now we can talk about how I will be able to move this thing in space. Well there are already ion engines being developed and I think it is achievable to be able to give enough thrust to be able to capture the same speed as an asteroid.
Refueling could be a challenge if there was no way to find fuel, but it is said there are tons of elements found in space which can be turned into fuel. Ice. The 3D printer will be a good enabler for this to allow for manufacturing of separating hydrogen or even any kind of gases to allow for propulsion. There is no drag or friction in space so small continuous impulses are capable of moving an object in space at a great speed.
The why.
So why am I so into these. Well YouTube and the AI being my technological enthusiasm feeder through my feeds based on what really gets me positive and at the same time provide me with the ideas in my head. This will cost lots of money. Well I have been thankful for Hive in giving me hope this can be achieved one day in the not too distant future. I mean, of course it is a grand plan but if you are wanting galactic conquest you have to have a grand plan. Plans start from a small idea. Like a seed planted in my mind. It has been about 5 years now where I have found myself following anything and everything to do with our eventual rise into an interplanetary beings.

Well for starters you can upvote this. I am not expecting a mind blowing amount, but if it can be helped any amount is a step closer to something that can be achieved. It will be hard and long but anything worthwhile is always going to be hard.
I know it is hard to be believe but I really am hopeful we can all get there. If the Wright brothers can make us fly in the air today from ideas born out of people from their distant past. I am sure with enough conviction anything is achievable.
