So here is the second show of 2012 and it’s a fun-packed load of old twaddle as usual. Pete shows that he is clearly a professional podcaster now by completing three, yes, three segways during the random chat section.
Matt tells us all about his newfound love for NginX and how it thumbs its nose at Apache. The team also discuss Ubuntu TV, which Canonical deliberately delayed till after EP18 so that TDTRS didn’t get a scoop on other podcasts.
The main topic this episode is “The Blackout Effect”, discussing what, if any, effect people and Wikipedia’s blacking out of their websites had on the SOPA protests.
Finally Matt and Pete, in an effort to push glue uphill, wade their way through the fifty-two-paragraph feedback emails that were sent in. And in the closing minutes, Matt tells us some worrying news about EP20! What can it be? Oh god, I have to listen now!
