This is gonna be a different post then my usual crap.
I don't remember exactly what YouTube video I saw this first, but it seemed like a super simple and quick project to do, to have a bit of fun with my toddler so I decided to give it a go.
And it's also educational since the kids see the process of a seed growing yada yada yada.
Meet the dinosaur terrarium
I promise you it looks much better then in the photo above!
Pretty easy to set up. All you need is some cotton, some peas, a jar, stickers and of course the dinosaurs.
As you can see below, I even got a pterodactyl hanging from the plastic cap, lmao
Just put the peas in the watered cotton, spray them with some water too and wait for time to do it's magic. If you put a cap , make sure to drill some holes to keep condensation and mold to a minimum.
I guess after a week or so you can implant the seeds on a pot to continue the fun and the educational part of project. At least, that's what I will do. 😊
Needless to say, you can use something else other than dinosaurs. But dinosaurs are cool and every kid loves them _
Here are some more photos I took from start to the final result
Our triceratops feels alone..let's get him some company! A stegosaurus or something:
Germination begins:
And a few days later I added the pterodactyl we saw before:
As you can see I also added some star stickers to simulate the night sky, lel.
Anyways, as I said it's a very simple, quick, fun and educational project to do, hopefully I gave you a fun idea to do with your young ones, if you have any. I know mine love it and wanted to check the progress every morning.
I am sure with a bit of creativity you will end up with something even cooler then me!
I think the project is pretty much self explanatory, but if you need any help just leave a comment.
Ok frens, this is it for today!
