Here's a fun yet totally useless fact I stumbled upon today.
Apparently, you can't burb on space. At least not without making a total mess which is the last thing you want in a space station.
On Earth, the basic science of burning is this. Gravity pulls all the liquids and solids down while the gases can escape from your mouth. With enough pressure...you burb.
However, on space things are different. There's no gravity to help separate gases from the other stuff.
As a result, only a "wet" burn is difficult. Which means it won't be gases coming out of your mouth.
Which is why astronauts try to avoid burbing as much as they can. Just imagine your launch flying around in thousands of pieces in the ISS 🙃
Disgusting and probably dangerous 😂
So yeah... If you ever take a space trip just don't burb
Here's a fun link if you'd like to read more on the science of burbing in space 👩🚀🤮
Ok frens, this is it for today.
Have a good one 😂
