Wazzup, Hivers! It's me again, your adventurer, Ann. Cheers to another sponty adventure in Naga, Cebu, Philippines.
Welcome to Pasko sa Naga! Or Welcome to the Christmas in Naga! (Is this the right way of saying it? LOL)
This place has been consistently one of the best destinations during the Christmas or holiday season. It is because of the blinding lights and the vibrant ambiance it brings. You can really tell how this place lit up. Even from afar, Naga is rich in budget and concept/idea, as the budget for setting up a whole boardwalk full of lights and Christmas concepts is genuinely one of a kind. 😊
When you first enter the boardwalk, you will be amazed by the lights, even at the front arch, sponsored by different city companies. There are also food stalls to choose from. There are also many restos inside. There’s no need to worry if you get hungry, as many establishments and stalls exist. Besides that, the boardwalk offers a panoramic view of the bay and a wide-open space with a relaxing ambiance. It is like you are in another country, but no! It is only in Cebu, Philippines.
Pasko sa Naga, or Christmas in Naga, is an undeniably captivating experience. If you roam around, you will be in awe of their wide and spacious boardwalk adorned with different dazzling spectacle lights. On the other side, you can see the swimming pool and the sports center, while the Naga City Hall and Museo Naga are on the other. The Naga City Hall and the Museo Naga are adorned with captivating displays, vibrant Christmas Trees, and creative light installations that draw crowds every night. On the other hand, if you are a sports enthusiast, it is also located on the boardwalk, the basketball, badminton, and pickleball courts.
Amazing, right? 😍🙈The place not only offers a wondrous picture-perfect site but can also be a place for sweating out and healthy lifestyle. Other than that, it is also located on the boardwalk, their Christmas bazaar, where you can shop for unique gifts, local crafts, and delicious treats from the locals. They also have a stage at the center right in front of the Christmas Tree, where they hold their community events, such as contests and concerts or any other gatherings of the city.
At the front is the famous “Pasilong sa Naga” fountain. Pasilong sa Naga, which also means in English as “Shelter in Naga.” It is a must-visit site when you go South in Cebu. It has gained a lot of popularity in recent years, especially during holidays. It is a circular fountain where the water flows down, just like how you are mesmerized by the whole place. The fountain is like a symbol of pouring out of abundance and creativity. The fountain has an elevated walkway with light rings that form the number 8 when seen from above. It is like a place with infinite power to hold memories. It is indeed a place where you can breathe deeply and remember what are the things that matter (especially when you have a lot on your plate). This destination invites visitors to embrace how nature’s serenity is illuminated even in the middle of the city. Here, you can discover the magical and captivating gardens, intimate spaces, and postcard-perfect views crafted for relaxation and quiet moments. This place is perfect for family, dates with loved ones, and even solo.
Speaking of memories, allow me to share with you some of the photos when we visited the place. Last 2023, their theme is “Christmas Around the World,” showcasing the different wonders of the world. Last year, 2024, their theme was a magical and enchanting Christmas. By far, I am always looking forward to Naga’s creations every holiday, as they bring dopamine to the brain and body. It is a must-visit during the holidays, I guarantee you.
