The sun shines brighter from the east facing window as I lower the blinds when my TM (aka Super--visor) shouted AHOD (all hands on deck) and then came back 20 minutes later asking us to log off at 9:45. For the life of me got astonished and murmured "Say what?" in a black accent. There will be a general cleaning for 2 days and all of us working in the 16th floor are advised to go home. Yeey!
I tried to finish all the stuff I planned for the whole shift including charging my phone and downloading netflix series in just 45 minutes. My previous teamate @queenmeiko22 asked if I could join my other utad friend to go check her condo unit at Solinea and go malling after. And because I have not been to the mall for the longest time albeit Ayala is just a stone throw away, I did not hesistate.
Solinea is an Ayala premium mix-used residential property nestled in the heart of Cebu Business District just across the mall and 2 blocks from our office. The property lobby is well thought of, very spacious, and plenty of IG worthy interiors. The pool is so big I think it occupies half of the ground floor's total area. And by the way this is not a sponsored post. I can only wish. My friend who happens to be a property manager asked us to assist her in filming the place for her demanding client asking for some details before signing the contract. Because why not?
The unit that is up for rent is a studio room that is semi furnished with access to all property ameneties. Utilities like electricity and water are not included in the rent. Internet is not also included and you have to apply for internet subscription if ever you are interested. My friend only accept long term rental at the moment at a very affordable price considering it is a premium condo.
We stayed there for awhile catching up with some juicy office gossips haha. And of course updating about our personal lives. Like there is a version 3.0 coming up haha. We did not notice it was already past 12, we decided to go for a lunch at Leylams and stroll the mall scouring for SALE and anything in between.
I have been planning of learning calligraphy so we visited the ArtBar, a flashy store of everything art essentials. The store is also inviting from the outside with its lighting emphasizing the colors and hues of its fountain pens, watercolors, and paints. I did not buy anything though out of frugality. It is quite pricey not that I am complaning. Art is priceless in the first place. But I will just be doing it as a hobby, so hello shopee.
I also checked a computer store for an
SSD as my laptop is already acting up and always under the weather. I am even writing this using my phone via the gmail app haha. After several questions from the technician we left the store and promised to return with my laptop for him to personally check it. I ask him if there is a fee, he said it is up to me as to how much I am willing, pwes humanda!
On our way to our last stop we saw a group of people doing a mural.
We then went to Brique Restaurant, my friend @explorewithsasha and @queenmeiko22 's favorite place for some reason. The resto is pricey from a frugal person's perspective although we did not try their main menu. We went there for the dessert and the coffee that came with it. And then continue our gossips haha. I have to cut it though sorry beshies as I have to catch a shuttle going south.
The day that was supposed to be an 8 hour shift was spent on unplanned shindig with friends doing simple and basic stuff but memorable.
