Hello fellow travelers, today we are taking a beautiful walk towards the village of Pirescoxe, we will follow a trail called: "Fatima Palm22" which as the name indicates the final destination of the trail is the church of Fatima in the north of the country, many pilgrims travel hundreds of kilometers from the south of the country to Fatima to pay tribute to the Virgin Mary, today I will make a journey from downtown Lisbon passing through the towns: (Joao da Talha, Bobadela, Portela) among others, it was a demanding walk but the landscapes were worth it.🚩📸

Hola amigos viajeros, hoy realizamos una hermosa caminata hacia la aldea de Pirescoxe iremos acompañar un sendero llamado: "Fatima Palm22" que como el nombre lo indica el destino final del sendero es en la iglesia de Fátima al Norte del país, muchos peregrinos recorren cientos de kilometros desde el sur del país hasta Fatima para rendir tributo a la virgen maria, hoy yo realizare un trayecto desde Lisboa centro pasando por los pueblos: (Joao da talha, bobadela, Portela) entre otras, fue una caminata exigente, pero los paisajes valieron la pena.🌄🚙

This trail is improvised because I started from Palmela and in this area we must always go north towards Lisbon, for this I took a bus to cross the 25th of April bridge which does not allow pedestrian access, then in Lisbon I started the trail, first time I combine two places the south margin and the center of Lisbon, that is to say Setubal district and Lisbon District, it was a quite hard walk of more than 20 km and the crossing took me more than 6 hours, but it is worth it for adventurers who love demanding sports like me.🚩🗺️
Este sendero es improvisado porque yo partí desde Palmela y en esta zona debemos siempre ir sentido norte hasta Lisboa, para ello tome un autobús para pasar el puente 25 de abril el cual no permite el paso peatonal, luego en Lisboa inicie el sendero, primera vez que combino dos locales el margen sur y el centro de Lisboa, o sea distrito Setubal y Distrito Lisboa, fue una caminada bastante dura de más de 20 km y me tomo más de 6 horas la travesía, pero vale la pena para los aventureros que aman deportes exigentes como yo.🌍🧭

Palmela is one of those few places in Portugal very close to Lisbon, but which tourists don't usually frequent because it isn't widely advertised. It's a city with all the amenities that has a wide variety of tourist attractions and even trails to explore. It has been inhabited since the Iron Age, passing through the Romans and Arabs. Each of these civilizations left a mark on the economic and cultural growth of Palmela, making it one of the richest cities in culture and heritage in the country. As far as hiking and landscaping are concerned, Palmela offers more than 20 trails to explore in different mountain ranges.🚙🚩
Palmela es de esos pocos sitios de Portugal que están muy próximos de Lisboa, pero que los turistas no suelen frecuentarlos porque no se hace mucha publicidad sobre ella, es una ciudad con todos los servicios que tiene una gran variedad de locales turísticos e incluso senderos para realizar, desde la era de hierro ya había sido habitada pasando por los romanos y los árabes, cada una de estas civilizaciones dejaron una huella en el crecimiento económico y cultural de Palmela siendo una de las ciudades más ricas en cultura y patrimonio cultura del país. Lo que a nosotros nos compete sobre senderismos y paisajismo, Palmela ofrece más de 20 senderos para recorrer en diferentes sierras.🌄🏔️⛰️
It seems like a labyrinth when you are in the center, so many narrow paths and stairs that you can get "lost" they have a map in each tourist place, so you can orient yourself, I am looking for a church that I have never visited and that is from the 12th century, I think one of the oldest that I already posted on hive🌍📍
Parece un laberinto cuando estás en el centro, tantos caminos angostos y escaleras que puedes "perderte" ellos tienen un mapa en cada lugar turístico, así puedes orientarte, estoy buscando una iglesia que nunca visite y que es del siglo XII creo que una de las mas antiguas que ya postie en hive 🗺️🚩
The houses or villas that we see with this style of architecture many have tiles with the construction date varying between 17th and 18th centuries, meaning we are looking at quite old and beautiful houses. When the Palmela castle was built in the 14th century there were already houses there, possibly some of which are medieval. We don't see anything like that in the centre of Lisbon.🚙🧭
Las casas o quintas que vemos con este estilo de arquitectura muchas tienen azulejos con la fecha de construcción varía entre XVII y XVIII o sea estamos en presencia de casas bastante antiguas y bonitas, cuando se construyo el castillo de Palmela en el XIV ya habían casas posiblemente algunas son medievales, no vemos algo asi en Lisboa centro.🗺️🌍

Now we take a tour of the main park of Palmela, when it was built in the mid-20th century by the president of the municipal chamber, it was a space for leisure, where people could come here and have fun, fall in love, relax after a hard day's work, incredible that the Palmela park is one of the least old things hehe🧭🚙
Ahora hacemos un recorrido en el parque principal de Palmela, cuando se construyo en mediados del siglo XX por el presidente de la camara municipal, fue un espacio destinado al lazer, donde las personas podían venir aquí y divertirse, enamorar, relajarse luego de un arduo dia de trabajo, increible que el parque del Palmela sea una de las cosas menos antiguas jeje⛰️🏔️
And well, the park ends here in front of the castle, which we are not going to go into and explain much about because I do not like to be redundant and repeat material. Y bueno, el parque culmina aquí frente al castillo que no vamos a entrar y explicar mucho sobre el porqué no me gusta redundar y repetir material, ya en ocasiones hablamos sobre el castillo de Palmela te sugiero ver en mis post anteriores, muy en resumen te puede decir que era una fortificación arabe que ya existia en el siglo X y fue conquistada en el siglo XI por los portugueses.🗺️🚩
Villages around Pirescoxe🧭📍/ Aldeas alrededores de Pirescoxe🌍🚙
Along the way we will come across many villages, cities with different atmospheres, from dangerous social neighborhoods at night to very isolated and quiet villages. I think that among the things I visited I would like to highlight Bobadela because it is the land of ceramics. Since the 13th century, ceramics have been worked here and it was known for that. You can still see companies of that style, the center is quite pretty.🌍🧭
En el camino vamos a toparnos con muchas aldeas, ciudades con diferentes ambientes, desde barrios sociales peligrosos de noche hasta aldea muy aisladas y tranquilas, creo que entre las cosas que visite me gustaria resaltar Bobadela porque es la tierra de las ceramicas desde XIII ya se trabajaban con ceramicas aqui y fue conocida por ello, aun se observan empresas de ese estilo el centro es bastante bonito.🏔️📸

We reached our goal, completing a total of 26 km, visiting several different environments and architectures, and well, when we arrived at Pirescoxe we felt that it is a fairly small medieval town that in the center is known for its cafeteria, which is a "castle palace" or more similar to a fortress.🧭🌍
Llegamos a nuestra meta, completamos en total 26 km visitamos varios ambientes y arquitecturas diferentes, y bueno cuando llegamos a Pirescoxe sentimos que es una villa bastante pequena medieval que en el centro es conocida por su cafetería que es un "palacio castillo" o mas parecida a una fortaleza.🚩🗺️
