I was attending a party somewhere in San Remigio when my husband told me that he would pick me up and we'd go for a beach walk. It was past 2 o'clock as I gazed at my watch. The image of the sunset and us walking together along the beach flashed through my imagination. As cliche, as it may sound, I felt the butterflies in my stomach. Who would not? It's a beach walk and hey it's on the longest and most beautiful shoreline of San Remigio!
The Famous and Beautiful San Remigio Shoreline.
San Remegio is a humble town nestling in the Northwest part of Cebu Province. Its shoreline is dubbed to be the longest shoreline on the whole island of Cebu. Its beautiful beach and fine sand are irresistible. This shoreline has already several private beach resorts, but on our stroll, we entered the public part of the shore which is the shore of Anapog.
So in today's blog, I'm bringing you for a beach walk too to see the beauty of Anapog, San Remigio Shoreline. so Taraaaa! Let's have a walk!
We entered some downhill full of green grasses first before we get to the shore. The sun was still up shining brightly because it was just past 3 o'clock (yes, I excused myself earlier in the party). I could see some boats from above which added to my excitement. I knew this day would be one of those relaxed and soothed days I've had.
We were welcomed by the two lovely trees which seems like the shoreline's entrance. Its ground is covered with wild Bermuda Grass which made this shoreline unique.
When we get to the ground with several boats being docked, my eyes moved from one boat to another! Oh, How I so love the docked boats on the seashore!
There are plenty of small fishing boats on the shore, and as much as I want to check them (as these are my fav subject to capture on the beach) the shoreline was inviting me even more. We couldn't wait to take a romantic stroll!
The afternoon was so bright yet the sun's rays didn't hurt our skin anymore. It was a wonderful time of the day for a walk. We began our beach walk date by taking a picture of our shadow on the sand.
Strolling and chatting along the beach.
Aside from that a beach walk is romantic and fun, a Date on the shoreline is so relaxing and cost-free. If you are a person like me who is contented with simple things like these; simple food, a funny conversation, and walking barefoot on the sand then a beach walk is a perfect thing to do together with your loved ones. I won't be talking about our Date here but instead, I'll show you how beautiful this Anapog, San Remigio Shoreline is.
The shoreline is indeed breathtaking. With its beautiful backdrop, the sea, and the trees on the coast, everything looked so serene and refreshing. I take off my sandals and started walking.
There are several trees that give shade and comfort to beachgoers so they can relax and enjoy their time on the beach, more so watch the sunset.
We passed this colorful Kayaking boat on the shore. I wonder if it's free to use this, or if this can only be used by the guest of a certain private resort. Whoever owns this, this Kayak added beauty to the shore.
There were some views of the shoreline where I need to remind myself that I am not in Boracay.
While other views made us speechless. We took some stops during our walk. We couldn't help but feel and indulge ourselves in the beauty of nature before our eyes! (Shall I insert here, that we did this while holding hands? hehe.)
We reached the part of the shoreline where there are lush green bushes. The sand in this part of the shore is whiter and finer compared to the entrance part.
In front of the bushes are two for-rent blue tents. There were chairs under it. It's perfect for a group of friends and family. Well, it's good for couples too but we don't need a tent at that time.
Some Private Resorts we passed.
As I mentioned earlier, on the shoreline of San Remigio stood several private resorts. Some were already old and others were just started rising.
This resort looks old and for sure had experienced typhoons in the North.
While the one below is a going construction of a new private resort on the shore. From its architecture and design, it's pretty obvious that this resort is a modern type.
Some more beautiful scenes on our Beach Walk.
Here are other beautiful sceneries we saw on our beach walk which added vibrance and life to the shore. We were lucky that there were only a few people on the beach, it felt like we owned the shore at that time.
Everytime I visit a beach and took a photo of fishing boats, I always choose the best photo that I captured of them, and here is my Top pick for this time, A small green fishing boat.
Some of my picture perfect snaps.

We stayed for a couple of hours on the spectacular shoreline. We spend our time having meaningful and funny conversations while enjoying the view! It's one of the best quality times we had and it's for free!
And that's it for our Beach Walk. Thank you for reading guys. Hope you enjoyed it too! May you all be safe and well always.
Warm hugs from @callmesmile.
