De esos lugares que agradezco poder conocer en mi país, primero quiero colocarlos un poco en contexto, El Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada se encuentra ubicado en la cordillera andina, específicamente entre Mérida y Barinas, en él se encuentran distintos lugares, el más conocido e histórico El Pico Bolívar, el pico más alto de Venezuela con 4978 msnm, lugar a donde no pudimos ir porque solo se puede llegar en Teleférico y lamentablemente no estaba funcionando.
A donde si pudimos ir y que también forma parte de este Parque Nacional fue a la Laguna de Mucubají, el mismo día que fuimos al Pico "El Águila" de regreso entramos a conocer esta laguna, que aproximadamente esta a 3655msnm, en este lugar estábamos a 5°. Literalmente es una laguna entre montañas, recuerdo que el primer lugar al que se fue mi vista fue hacia las montañas, abajo corría el agua, se me ocurrió tocarla y casi se me congela la mano, sinceramente el agua más helada que he tocado en mi vida.
The Sierra Nevada National Park is located in the Andean mountain range, specifically between Merida and Barinas, in it there are different places, the best known and historic El Pico Bolivar, the highest peak in Venezuela with 4978 meters above sea level, a place where we could not go because you can only get there by cable car and unfortunately it was not working.
Where we could go and which is also part of this National Park was the Mucubají Lagoon, the same day we went to the peak "El Águila" on the way back we went to see this lagoon, which is approximately 3655 masl, in this place we were at 5 °. It is literally a lagoon between mountains, I remember that the first place my sight went to was towards the mountains, the water was running down, I thought of touching it and my hand almost froze, honestly the coldest water I have ever touched in my life.
Después al cruzar vi un muro de piedras que rodeaba toda la laguna y en el medio un puente de madera que lleva a una de las vistas más lindas que vi ese día. Nos sacamos unas fotos hermosas, quedamos todos enamorados de la magia que da el agua con las montañas, el frío, el ambiente, el aura del lugar es como de una paz absoluta que no se pueden imaginar.
Recuerdo también caminar por la carretera pararme en algún punto y mirar hacia las montañas, les juro que una de ellas se veían como amontonadas las nubes; además de que hay un montón de pinos alrededor y yo me sentía como en una película; la verdad es que el lugar fue hermoso.
En cuanto a las personas, como les comente en el primer post hablándoles del viaje, básicamente éramos nada más nosotros, al llegar si nos cobraron 4 bs por persona que eso sería como 0.90$ lo cual lo vimos muy bien porque todo se mantiene limpio, hay papeleras, y se ve bien cuidado y conservado; así que vale completamente la pena el pago además que tampoco es una cantidad excesiva.
After crossing I saw a stone wall that surrounded the entire lagoon and in the middle a wooden bridge that leads to one of the most beautiful views I saw that day. We took some beautiful pictures, we were all in love with the magic that gives the water with the mountains, the cold, the atmosphere, the aura of the place is like an absolute peace that you can not imagine.
I also remember walking along the road, stopping at some point and looking at the mountains, I swear that one of them looked like clouds piled up; besides there are a lot of pine trees around and I felt like in a movie; the truth is that the place was beautiful.
As for the people, as I told you in the first post talking about the trip, basically it was just us, when we arrived we were charged 4 bs per person which would be like 0.90$ which we saw it very well because everything is kept clean, there are garbage cans, and it looks well maintained and preserved; so it is completely worth the payment plus it is not an excessive amount.
De las cosas más hermosas fue pararnos un momento en el mini balcón por así decirlo y realmente admirar la belleza de la vista, la naturaleza es una cosa que no tiene precio y nos hizo reflexionar mucho de lo afortunados que éramos de poder vivir en carne propia lo que es conocer realmente las bellezas de nuestro país.
La verdad esta Laguna es uno de esos lugares que todo mundo debería conocer, porque no hay nada mejor que sentir que la naturaleza envía un mensaje de paz. Incluso creo que no hay palabras que puedan describir como me sentí al conocer La Laguna de Mucubaji.
Venezuela es definitivamente hermosa... Que nadie les diga lo contrario.
One of the most beautiful things was to stand for a moment on the mini balcony so to speak and really admire the beauty of the view, nature is something priceless and made us reflect on how lucky we were to be able to experience firsthand what it is to really know the beauties of our country.
The truth is that this lagoon is one of those places that everyone should know, because there is nothing better than feeling that nature sends a message of peace. I don't even think there are words that can describe how I felt when I visited the Mucubaji Lagoon.
Venezuela is definitely beautiful... Let no one tell you otherwise.
