It funny how your opinion of art changes overtime; fermenting alongside all the troubles, the tribulations of life, the sadness, the electricity. Every few years I deep-dive the depths of an artificial wasteland.
Wading through a debris trail of scattered megabytes that lay silent on the digital ocean floor, a reminder of my life and where I once stood.
It's in these moments of deep reflection, shimmering in the silt, forgotten artefacts reveal themselves amongst the treasure. We return to our best work like ants, cutting it up bit by bit, and all the glamour, all the praise, the artistic red herring.
Suddenly out of the darkness appears moments in time you once saw, but have since forgotten. You remember being there. but the details are still hazy.
All these images, bar the selfie, haven't seen the light of day. They never made the first, second, third... cuts and so on, but somewhere down the line, today, they shine. They are but they're own tiny slivers of life; that just exist, as data, as Art?
These images are from a trip to Girona, Spain. The location featured in some of the less popular scenes and series of 'Game Of Thrones' series. If you life them, say hi, give me a follow if you want.
Love Ya,
