Buenas tardes hivers deseo un gran día para todos. Después de unos días de estar ausente por mi viaje les compartiré mi experiencia visitando Riohacha, la capital de la Guajira. Ese dia llegué a las 10:40, fue un vuelo de 1 hora desde medellín, fue bastante rápido y al salir del aeropuerto le pregunté a un lugareño si había una ruta que me dejara cerca al hostal, sin embargo no lo hay y en lugar estan los taxis, Uber o moto.
Decidí llegar en uber, el hombre fue muy formal y llegué al hostal, dónde esperé un momento para que me entregarán la habitación, luego descanse un rato allí para salir más adelante e ir almorzar y conocer está cuidad, la cual es muy tranquila, las personas son amables y manejan precios muy justos. Ese día comí sierra es un pez muy bueno, acompañado de arroz con coco y patacones. Al final estuvo bastante bueno el almuerzo y de ahí salí a caminar.
Me tomé algunas fotos en lugares importantes, como en la estatua del palabrero, quién es un mediador en las comunidades indígenas, en la iglesia, en el monumento de la identidad, el cualsl se caracteriza por tener varios personajes que rinden tributo a la cultura de la guajira, está la mujer wayuu, de bronce que retrata a la mujer indígena bailando la yonna, un baile típico del evento especial que encarna la cosmología wayuu, entre otros. También me tomé foto enla escultura de Almirante José Prudencio Padilla nacido en Riohacha se le reconoce la independencia nacional de origen costeño, pues fue fundamental en la derrota naval de los españoles, sobretodo en aquella batalla en el lago Maracaibo ocuriida a mediados del año 1823 que sello el triunfo definitivo de los sublevados contra la corona española en la parte norte de suramérica.
En fin, hay muchos momentos y esculturas con grandes historias y camine por sus calles, por el malecón para ver y comprar mochilas y algunos detalles de las artesanías representativas, anduve en el muelle que no puede faltar; más tarde me fui a descansar. Me organice más o menos a las 7 de la noche para salir a comer y disfrutar un poco de su gastronomía. Fui a cenar en un restaurante reconocido y bonito que está al frente de los cañones, allí probé por primera vez la langosta la cual me gustó bastante, claro está que influye mucho en su preparación y las salsas que le puedan añadir.
Así finalizaba el día y me fui a dormir, pues al otro día me esperaba una nueva aventura, pero ¡Esa! Es otra historia.
