SA PA CITY
In recent years, the city of Sa Pa has gone viral on social media and many people from outside Vietnam are interested in coming there, including me hehehe... About a year ago, in May to be exact, I went to the city. My first experience abroad was to Vietnam and I chose Sa Pa as my destination city. I went to Sa Pa city by sleeper bus whose ticket I booked through the application beforehand. Because it was already night and the journey was about five to six hours, so I spent the night on the sleeper bus. Although I bought the cheapest sleeper bus ticket, it was quite comfortable, I could even sleep soundly on the bus. After a long journey, I finally arrived at my destination city at dawn... Although it was still dark, I could feel the very cool morning air.
Beautiful scenery,lake and the trees
As the day began to brighten, the beauty of Sa Pa city began to appear. The buildings in this city looked very beautiful, it felt like in Europe but in Southeast Asia. Feelings of joy, gratitude and disbelief that I could see this beauty with my own eyes. The streets were also very beautiful and there was no traffic jam. I was really amazed by the buildings in Sa Pa city. But even more amazed when I saw the beautiful Sa Pa lake with the background of buildings and mountains, making it like in a painting. There are no words that can describe the beauty of Sapa city that I saw... It makes me very grateful to have the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.
Buildings... a blend of European style with Chinese style
The beauty doesn't stop there. When heading to the city center which is not far from the lake, I was again amazed by the restaurant buildings on the side of the road. Buildings such as hotels have a European feel, while restaurant buildings have a Chinese feel with lanterns hanging in front. Vietnamese flags everywhere make the buildings look more alive. At night, the city is very bright because the restaurants are filled with lights. The day and night views of this city are very different, but equally beautiful.
Moving to the city center, where there is an icon of Sa Pa city, namely Sun Plaza station. Yes! This building is an icon of Sa Pa city... It is also a place that went viral on social media that made me dare to visit it. You can take the monorail from this station if you want to go to Sun World Fansipan, another viral place in Sa Pa. Right in front of Sun Plaza station is a square. During the day this place is full of tourists who want to take pictures with the Sun Plaza station as the background... while at night there are usually events on stage and it is also crowded.
Flowers everywhere
You will find many flowers in Sa Pa city. The first one I saw was around Sa Pa lake, there were various kinds of red and yellow flowers. Then near the city center there is a park called Sa Pa park which is also planted with many flowers. Near Sun Plaza station there is also a small park but it is filled with flowers. But the most I found was at Muong Hoa station. When you want to go to Sun World Fansipan by monorail, you will definitely stop at Muong Hoa station before continuing by cable car. We can go directly to the cable car station or you can stop by the park located outside the station. It is full of beautiful flowers.
