I go to my home town only once a year. There are many symbolic places that I am trying to visit when I can. This reminds me of my childhood. In today's post I will stop your attention on one of them.
Park Hamambair is located in the west side of Sliven. It is a great place for a short walk in the mountain.
At the foot of the bay there is a small chapel.
The most common way to reach the destination is by stairs. It takes around 15 minutes to go to the top.
On the half way to the top there is a water tap.
Climbing up, I used the moment to photograph the buildings from different angles and heights. The view is really nice, you can recognise the city clock in the center.
I think that it is worth going there and enjoying the beauty of the town and extremely gorgeous mountainmountain slopes in the background.
On the left side is Barmukbair and the cross on the top. Every single night it lights up and it can be noticed from everywhere in the area of the town.
While climbing the stairs I took a lot of photos of the nature. I captured a sparrow and a couple of bird houses. I was surpised that the area is well maintened.
Let's see what awaits us at the top. The monument in honor of the Bulgarian liberators is luckily undefiled. It would be a shame. All bulgarians should not forget the history, should be grateful, respectful and humble.
The views from the tops are gorgeous. Surprisingly I didn't see that many people exploring the area.
One of the updates is the basketball playground. It was from my top favorite activities at school. Next time I will take a ball with me.
I have never played at such an altitude.
Unfortunately I didn't have much time, as I had some afternoon tasks. In general I was very satisfied with the quick mountain walk.
