Hello, Hivers! It’s me again @doughnahhh back again with another blog series. I’m excited to be here again. I would be sharing more of my experiences with you all, so hang up and be with me! Today, I’ll be continuing the story from my last post which was yesterday, where I talked about we will be having dinner with my co-workers and how our driving experience going there was. And if you missed it and have not read it yet, no worries, I'll catch you up very quickly here!This time, we’ve finally arrived at SUNGKA, and I am diving a little deeper into the conversation, the laughs, and maybe even a few surprising moments that came out of the way of hiding the location and how much more our dinner experience was. Trust me that there’s more to this story than what I've been telling in my last post before this one. So grab your favorite snack, sit back and relax and let’s jump into it now!
Despite the fact that we faced so many several challenges and unexpected circumstances along the way to SUNGKA, we still stayed calm and finally managed to reach our destination. It's understandable that there may be times that the road appeared to be unpredictable, whether it's due to traffic (it's understandable already), detours, or other obstacles that we encountered. Despite those challenges, we still remained focused on our purpose and went on to our destination. The prospect of sharing the meal with my coworkers kept us very motivated. We arrived at the restaurant safely even after an incident that was a very unexpected happening. We were very eager to unwind ourselves that after a very long and very tiring day of work and shared a very well-deserved meal together with my co-workers. It's a reminder that, even though we may be faced with very unexpected happenings along the way, the commitment that gets us where we need to go is our goal.
As we finally arrived at the venue where we are finally going to have our dinner with my coworkers, we were immediately struck by how beautifully and captivatingly they arranged the venue. Even before we were still outside of the venue, we saw the exterior outside and it had already begun to captivate us. The venue was very relaxing and fascinating, with also rich nature around us. The surroundings were very much and warmed our eyes, providing a peaceful perspective that made us feel as if we were entering a hidden sanctuary. As we made our way inside, the experience amazed us. The interior was even more stunning because we were dining under a beautiful fishpond. The relaxing sound of the water that surrounded us was gently flowing, adding to our amazement and satisfaction with my coworkers who came all the way to Mandaue to visit and chose to eat at their restaurant, and it's all worth it, as fish moved gracefully in crystal-clear water everywhere we looked. They are always fish, the fish are creating and making the serene atmosphere even more magical.
After our arrival and observing the venue, the staff of SUNGKA greeted us warmly. They assist us and guarantee us by assisting and directing us to our allocated seats, they are ensuring that we will know exactly where we are going and where we will be seated so we won't have the wrong direction and they are assisting us in settling us in comfortably. This attentive and welcoming approach of theirs comprehends action and a very welcoming atmosphere from the very moment we arrive. They never disappointed us, and after we are seated, they present us there a menu from which we may choose what food we wanted to order.We choose our orders from their menu and decide immediately what we are going to pick and after we are done choosing, the staff quickly and efficiently assist us in placing our orders. They give us an allotted time and there's no delay in the allotted time. They give us no delay everything is set up to minimize our waiting time. Since we are also all hungry at that time, we are happy that there's no delay at all, they are allowing us to make our selections and they proceed with the meal as quickly as possible. Even though it's a bustling lunch hour or a relaxed dinner, the service of SUNGKA feels so seamless and well-coordinated. This kind of quick service ensures that we're not just only another customer, but we feel valued and that we are also given the attention and care that customers like us must have, especially since they are making their customer hungry and looking forward to a fulfilling dinner.
Here are the foods that we ordered during our visit at Sungka. The presentation was nice and detailed their serving portions were so generous and satisfying for tummy and Just look at our faces there when the food has finally arrived we were all so happy and excited to eat because we were extremely hungry. That moment felt so satisfying, knowing that our cravings were about to be fulfilled.
This is the aftermath after we finished eating, just look at the empty plates. Isn’t it obvious how hungry we all were? Haha! We really enjoyed every bite, and it clearly shows how much we were craving a good meal

Our feelings during that time in our sungka experience were mixed we truly enjoyed our meal because the setup was super relaxing we love it, and the food was absolutely delicious (sulit). All we can say is that, despite everything we had been through, it's all worth it. We are really enjoying the meal and also the entire experience. It left us feeling both peaceful and enchanted, completely full in the moment.
