How are things going for you right now? I hope you're all doing well and looking forward to a beautiful and exciting year in 2022.
As you may be aware, running has become one of the most popular forms of physical activity, and it has numerous health benefits for humans.
Having a good environment to do so will play a key role in encouraging runners to run. So, in today's article, I'd want to share with you one of Vietnam's most quiet rural areas, and from there, I'll focus on the advantages of running in a natural setting like this, which I have discovered myself.
I am fortunate to have a jogging partner in the form of my 3-year-old son, who enjoys outdoor activities just as much as I do. And the location I'd want to mention is Hung Thuy village, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh Province, where my boy's grandparents are living. It's around 50 kilometers south of where I reside. This area is known not only for its beautiful landscapes, but also for its excellent fingers. General Vo Nguyen Giap is a terrific example, and I'll tell you a great story about him in my next post.
I spent a week with my little boy here and discovered that he enjoys running and walking, so I decided to start doing it with him every morning. We run the same route for the entire week, and it never gets boring thanks to the beautiful trail running.
So, what are the benefits of running in the countryside?
Have you ever taken for a morning run in ylthe rural area?
First and foremost, running in a tranquil environment such as a countryside close to nature will help us receive more fresh oxygen and will be beneficial to our lungs in particular.
Our daily goal is to complete 4 kilometers for both the plat trail and white sand hill.
One of the finest ways to encourage running is to jog and walk around the picturesque village to view the country life. Everyone has a little house with a garden where they produce a variety of veggies to provide them with daily fresh food. In that garden will also has the fish in a pool in front of the house. Please believe me when I say that if you view this while running, you will gain an increasing amount of positive energy to start a new day.
A magnificent white sand dune close to the village that we sprint up to the summit and take a deep breath is an absolutely great experience. The amazing farm-winds and the entire stunning vista of this area can be seen from here. Running on this type of terrain, in my opinion, will help you burn calories more quickly and effectively. My son sometimes gets tired and asks for me to hold him up.
True fulfillment does not come from financial possessions, nor does it come from traveling to new locations and having fresh thrilling experiences on a regular basis. It's all part of the process of discovering what makes us happy throughout our lives. Many people find city life overwhelming to their more sensitive quiet soul, and they recognize how important their surroundings are to their creativity and mental wellness.
I hope this brief message has brought you some peace of mind; I am not proposing solutions to anyone's problems. I'm just sharing some of the little things I've learnt while being in a rural region while on vacation with my young kid.
And I also find that if we appreciate the simple things in life as what is genuinely important and what is truly alive, everything will become easier and more comfortable.
