During Kedarnath Yatra…..
At that time, bridge construction work was going on on the river on the way to Kaal Bhairav temple. Somehow we crossed the river and started climbing. The road was broken at many places and we had to walk very carefully. The view of Kedar valley from Kaal Bhairav temple was very beautiful and captivating. We stopped there for some time and after absorbing the beautiful view around Kedar valley, we started going down. We kept walking continuously and reached Sonprayag at 5 in the evening.
At the time of leaving, a driver had told me that when I come back, I should immediately leave for Guptkashi because from there I will get a vehicle to all the places. I occupied the front seat in a taxi in Sonprayag and was looking for a single person like me so that I can save money in taking a room at night in Guptkashi. Maybe luck was also with me, I saw a person coming alone from the front.
I asked - Will you go to Guptkashi
No, I want to go to Haridwar,
But you will not get a bus to Haridwar right now.
He stared at me and said, how do you know?
No, some other people were also looking for it but they are going to Guptkashi now, I say you should also go to Guptkashi, you will get a bus to Haridwar from there.

We had reached Guptkashi by 6 in the evening. There both of us rented a room for Rs. 500. I kept my bag in the room and said let's go and have food. While eating I said I have to withdraw money from the ATM.
Okay, you withdraw the money till then I will check for the bus to Haridwar in the morning.
There are 3 ATMs in Guptkashi but none of them has money. Today I met a Sikh, if you go to the mountains then you must keep cash, don't depend on ATM.
I came to the room disappointed..
I took out the money, seeing me he said.
No the ATM is empty.
He immediately took out his Rs. 1000 and gave it to me and said you keep it and send it to me later. I immediately called my younger son and asked him to transfer Rs. 1000 to his account. The money was transferred to his account in 10 minutes.
I thanked him. He started smiling.

उस समय काल भैरव मंदिर जाने के रास्ते में नदी पर पुल निर्माण कार्य चल रहा था किसी तरह नदी पार कर चढ़ाई करने लगे l रास्ता कई स्थान पर टूट गया था बहुत संभल कर चलना पड़ रहा था l काल भैरव मंदिर से केदार घाटी का दृश्य बेहद सुंदर और मनमोहक लग रहा था वहां कुछ देर रुक कर केदार घाटी के चारों ओर के मनोरम दृश्य को आत्मसात कर वापस निचे को चल पड़े l लगातार चलते हुए शाम 5 बजे सोन प्रयाग पहुंच गया l
मुझे जाने के समय एक ड्राइवर ने बताया था, कि जब आप वापस आयेंगे तो तुरंत गुप्त्काशी के लिए निकल लेंगे क्योकी वहा से आपको सभी जगह की गाड़ी मिल ही जायेगी.सोनप्रयाग में एक टेकर में आगे की सीट जब्त कर मै अपने जैसे किसी अकेले बन्दे को तलाश रहा था ताकि गुप्तकाशी में रात्री में रुम लेने में पैसे की बचत हो जाय. शायद किस्मत भी मेरे साथ थी सामने से एक बन्दा अकेले आता दिखाइ दिया.
मैने पुछा - क्या आप गुप्तकाशी जाएंगे
नही मुझे हरिद्वार जाना है,
लेकिन अभी तो आपको हरिद्वार की गाड़ी नहीं मिलेगी.
वो मुझे घुर कर बोला क्यो आपको कैसे मालुम.
नहीं कुछ और लोग भी ढूंढ रहे थे पर वे अब गुप्तकाशी जा रहे हैं, मैं तो कहता हूँ आप भी गुप्तकाशी चले, वहा से हरिद्वार की गाड़ी मिल ही जायेगी.
वो बोला, देखते हैं
मैं मायुस हो गया, एक मिला भी तो अभी देख ही रहा. खैर जो भोले की मर्जी.
10 मिनट बाद अचानक वो बन्दा मेरे सामने खड़ा था,
शायद आप सही बोल रहे थे.
मेरे खुशी का कोइ ठिकाना नहीं था, पर चेहरे पर बिना किसी भाव लाए मैं बोला आपको क्या लगा मैं झूठ बोल रहा था.
उसने मेरे बगल में सीट ले ली.
पता चला कि ये दक्षिण भारतीय है अभी दिल्ली मे जोब करते हैं.
इस तरह दो मुसाफ़िर एक हो गया.
शाम 6 बजे गुप्तकाशी आ चुके थे. वहा दोनो ने मिलकर 500/रु मे एक कमरा किराए पर कलिया. बैग रुम में रख मै बोला चलिये भोजन किया जाय. भोजन करते वक्त मैने कहा मुझे ए टी एम से पैसे निकालना हैं.
ठिक है, आप पैसे निकालो तब तक मैं सुबह में हरिद्वार के बस का पता करता हूँ.
गुप्तकाशी में 3 ए टी एम किसी में पैसा नहीं. आज एक सिख मिला, पहाडों में जाए तो कैश जरुर रखे, ए टी एम के भरोसे न रहे.
मैं उदास रुम पर आ गया..
पैसे निकाले, मुझे देख वो बोला.
नहीं ए टी एम खाली है
उसने तुरंत अपना 1000/रु निकाल कर देते हुए कहा आप रखो बाद में मुझे भेज देना. मैने तुरंत अपने छोटे बेटे को फोन कर उनके अकाउंट में 1000/ रु ट्रान्सफ़र करने को बोला. 10 मिनट में उनके अकाउंट में पैसा आ गया.
मैने उन्हे धन्यवाद कहा. वो मुस्कुराने लगे.
अभी भी अच्छे लोगों की कमी नहीं है, यही सोचते सोचते मै सो गया.
