In this article, I will share a part of the Lycian way with you.
The Lycian Way is one of the most famous walking routes. This road is home to magnificent views.😍
Today we will start from the mouth of Kaş harbor and take a walk towards the area called Üzümlü.
This track is about 12 km and is a bit challenging.
We set off at 6 am with our team of 20 people.
We had to start the day early as Kaş is one of the remote districts of Antalya.

Bugün Kaş liman ağzından başlayıp Üzümlü denen bölgeye doğru bir yürüyüş gerçekleştireceğiz.
Bu parkur yaklaşık 12 km olup birazda zorlu.
20 kişilik ekibimizle sabah 6 da yola çıkıyoruz.
Kaş Antalya’nın uzak ilçelerinden biri olduğu için güne erken başlamak zorundaydık.
Our march leader suggested that we take plenty of water with us on the way. Because there is no water source on this track.
Really it is. If we didn't have enough water with us, maybe we wouldn't be able to complete this track. When the sun and intense tempo combined, water loss was inevitable.
Anyway, we're on our way. 🚶
Yürüyüş liderimiz yoldayken yanımıza bolca su almamızı önermişti. Çünkü bu parkurda her hangi bir su kaynağı bulunmuyormuş.
Gerçekten de öyle. Eğer yanımızda yeterli su almasaydı belki de bu parkuru tamamlayamazdık. Güneş ve yoğun tempo birleşince su kaybı kaçınılmaz olmuştu.

Maybe you know that this island belongs to the Greeks. I loved this island, which is connected to Kasha by sea. I dreamed for a moment that I lived there. Maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to go and see it.

We continue to spend time in touch with nature.
We will take a lunch break at Çoban Bay.🍔

It's hard to get lost or confused on this track.
There are signs drawn with paint on the stones along the track.
I would like to share one more thing that happened to us a lot on the way to Lycia.💮🌳
Some dogs can follow you calmly along the way.
We have a traveling companion, we named him Üzümlü.
He looked back from time to time to check what was left behind.

Bizimde bir yol arkadaşımız var adını Üzümlü koyduk.
Zaman zaman arkasına bakıp geride kalanları kontrol ediyordu.
There is a narrow road before us.
Under normal conditions, it is a bit dangerous to pass through here.
But since it is supported by thick ropes, our work is easy.
Right after, we come across some structures.
Karşımıza ince bir yol çıkıyor.
Normal şartlarda buradan geçmek biraz tehlikeli.
Ama kalın ipler ile desteklendiği için işimiz kolay.
Hemen ardından bazı yapılara rastlıyoruz.
We have come to the end of this intensely long walk. We are in an area called Üzümlü. Our bus was waiting for us here. Everyone is very happy. We're pretty tired. We find a seat and take a rest. There is a small kiosk opened for people who come here to picnic. We grab a few cold drinks and drink them. After this little rest, we take the bus as we have a long way to go. This is how this adventure ends.
Yoğun tempolu bu uzun yürüyüşün sonuna geldik. Üzümlü denilen bir bölgedeyiz. Otobüsümüz bizi burada bekliyordu. Herkes çok mutlu. Hayli yorulduk. Bir oturak bulup biraz soluklanıyoruz. Buraya piknik yapmaya gelen kişiler için açılmış küçük bir büfe var. Bir kaç soğuk içecek alıp içiyoruz. Bu ufak dinlenmeden sonra yolumuz uzun olduğu için otobüse geçiyoruz. Bu macera bu şekilde bitmiş oluyor.
